But seeing your vid, inspire me further! 🫶🏻 Can I ask how was the cafe experience as solo customer as I understand K-culture is not so solo-friendly for cafes / restaurants? And you pay by cash or card mostly?

hi dear! so happy to hear that you are also going on a solo trip to Seoul very soon! for me personally I feel they will prefer to talk in Korean more than in English, i will try to order in Korean first but if the conversation gets harder I will tend to use google translate/English to communicate with them... and in terms of the food portion, definitely you couldn't try out a lot of food because if you order 1 main + 1 dish, the portion is actually for a 2 pax !! but don't worry you can always check with them regarding the food portion before you order I pay with cash and cards! brought some extra cash in case you are more into a street food person, for cards I use it to purchase big items like in shopping mall/olive young I hope I answer your questions! feel free to let me know if you need more information ♡

@@Chwenotchu0216 ​If you plan to visit Hongdae, there are Busan Jip and Iftar. Both are a Halal-Certified restaurant. They also provide a prayer room! Myeondong: Kampungku, Busan Jip (there are 3 restaurants). I think there are a lot more in the Itaewon area. This is also my first time going solo to Korea. Hope you enjoy your trip!
