had my quadruple bypass in september 1 feel more like Im 40 than 72 after the surgery, I can walk miles now instead of a few hundred feet at a time , the thing that bothered me was the breathing tube when I woke up after that came out a few hours after waking up it was all good from there I had very little pain ,never took any pain meds after second night in ICU, went home saturday, was hunting deer six weeks later got to use a crossbow for the first time on deer got a nice wide 4x5, so I bid you good luck and will pray for a good outcome, us archers have to stick together Terry USA

I had triple bypass open heart March 2017. Was walking 1 mile week after surgery. Killed doe in December with compound dragged her 400 yrds by myself. Hunted elk in CO last August. Killed decent whitetail buck 2021...dragged him 350 yrds. He will be fine and stronger. Certainly not out of breath etc

I'm one of your cheerleaders from America. You'll be fine. Your staff will step up. Someone can bring the payroll to you. The dog will be fine. The house won't burn down. You're adding years to your life. Think positive and all will be fine. Think, Beautiful Nurse's. Great luck to you.

Steven, Really appreciate the no BS reviews. Best of luck on the bypass. Everyone I know who's had one said they can't believe how much better they feel because the blockages are such a slow process. You'll be back even stronger in no time. Take care and all the best from Canada.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and concerns as you move closer to surgery. I know what it feels like, having faced a very serious surgery this past September. There will be challenges, however, you have the acumen to face them straight up. Here I extend best wishes from Arkansas for a speedy and strong recovery. On the day of your surgery, I'll pray that you find strength in God's presence.

Hi Steven praying for ya for your quick and healthy recovery. My Dad had this surgery years ago with today's modern technology this operation is kinda routine for doctors today. Physically you will have no trouble recovering. Something that is very important is your mental state you might go thru some issues with your mental state after the operation. You are going thru a big physical time with your body and you must stay focused on the fact that you will be heather than you were before. My dad had a hard time dealing with the mental part of recovery and would have recovered sooner if he handled it better. Not to make you more concerned but if you prepare your mind for it know you will get better faster and be back to a more healthy person than you are know. There is a time in the operation were they will stop your heart for a split second and alot of people have mental problems because of it. This is something doctors have done hundred thousand of times and is not a concern especially after your operation. I'm sharing this with you hoping it will help you get thru with flying colors. You must get better you are valued by friends and family and even in the archery world many people including myself have valued your experience and opinions. There are alot of more people you need to help in this world. Know get your butt to that hospital and get it done and get back to a better life being healthy. Good luck and God bless. Ralph D

Been there. It was scary for me being my first ever surgery. But it is pretty routine surgery for the doctors that perform it. You'll feel stronger suddenly after a few weeks and make sure you go through the cardio-rehab a couple months later.

Stephen 2019 I was running 2 small but successful businesses, raced a 30' yacht and had a beautiful partner By 2020 everything had gone. I couldn't walk, had no income and was relying on charities to eat. Every 2 weeks Social Services would ring and ask me on a scale of 1 to 10 how likely was I to take my own life this weekend I got thru all of that shit and like you changed everything. I'm slowly beginning to rebuild my life Hang on in there life will get better

Gotta tell ya I’m 72 years old had that surgery 4 years ago. I smoked for 50 years. I had it in April and was in the fields plowing in one month. Never missed a day hunting beginning in September. Then on to archery deer season. It’s the first two, maybe three weeks that is the most irritating because you can’t do much but walk.

Should be 3 or 4 days post surgery now. How are you doing? Hopefully up and moving around. I’m betting you are already feeling better with all that “ extra” blood lol getting to your brain. Betting your vision is better too. Now is the time to build those new arrows for the Verdict. Keep us posted in an arrow build video. Yea, it’s like watching paint dry but viewers will like it. 👍👍

You give the best reviews, Thank You. I have an old Elite Z28 from @2010. I came from an even older PSE from the 80's. I absolulty love the Elites. No BS, no need to mess with the bow too mutch. I feel that the experience should be about the shoot, not the messing with the bow. But I was looking at your reports on the new Elites, and I would like to know if it would be that mutch of a change or worth it to buy a New Elite?

My missus is C-19 jabbed, jabbed again and an extra jab. She has had covid 4 times. I have a job where Im constantly with the public, Ive never stopped working tho I do keep 2m from people. I do have lung scarring and a pemanent cough from an incident with H2SO4 exposure. Im unjabbed. Never had c-19. One of my regular customers had a heart attack 4 years ago... Shes just about getting back to normal, when she does a workout, she relapses and has chest pains. So. she cannot exercise at all now other than short slow walking. Im not in the archery trade but Ive always built, cut my own arrows, made my own strings/cables, tuned my own bows. I even built my own string jig. Its not difficult, it just takes time. I repair my arrows while Im watching TV.
