Hello I've not poured a drop of resin in my life but I have been putting together my Arsenal in order to do so. I am wondering if using a UV resin first in the eyeball socket and attaching the eyeball then going about your business would change anything as far as resin getting under the eyeball?
@Toonpish Жыл бұрын
It is a possibility 🤔🤔 not tried it so can’t answer 😳 but let me know if you ever do how it works 😀💜
@jerrycallender9352 Жыл бұрын
Like the tutorial - I'm just beginning to experiment with mica powders. How 'bout a drop or two of resin in the eye cavity,, set the eye and cure would stop the black from invading the eye socket.
@Toonpish Жыл бұрын
Good idea but it’s another step if you wait for it to cure first, which is another day basically. I was thinking of trying a little liquid latex. That dries quickly 🤔😀💜
@jerrycallender9352 Жыл бұрын
Ahh...I use UV resin and keep forgetting 'bout the extended curing time of 2-part epoxy. Can you not use UV to set the eye then finish with epoxy?@@Toonpish

Hi Julia. Yes the mica is completely encapsulated in the resin. It is as one so no need to seal it at all 😀👍

I wouldn’t have thought so at all as you only need to cover the surface. Resin picks up what ever it touches. That’s so strange. What resin did you use? What Mica and was it a Silicone mould? There are plenty of variables in this craft but resin attaches itself to most things 😞

Those are gorgeous - I am wondering if you put Vaseline on the front of the eye first if it would be easier to clean as resin doesn’t stick to Vaseline - just a thought. I would love to see how you do the eyes too please

Thank you very much indeed. The vaseline is a great idea 👍 and it could work too, thanks. I think I will do an eye video in a little while. Have a few things planned before hand though lol. 😃👍👍👍

I got this mould from Ali express 😀 I believe a subscriber found it and put a link in for it 😀 but that was a long time ago and who knows if it’s still available 😳😀💜
