For those of you wondering, the grandma was Alyssa’s grandmother who had to be there because she was underage. It destroyed her, the news of what her granddaughter had done and nobody could comfort her after she broke down.

The sentence in story 3 is crazy - the woman who stabbed someone she didnt know 22 times and this being unprovoked only got 15 years, even after writing in her journal that she is a homicidal psychopath and never felt a high like it. Meaning it's likely that one day she will be released back in to society. The only factor that stopped this from murder is that the woman knew how to save her own life due to her medical training. It blows my mind. Any other person would have died and the sentence should have reflected that. Can someone with these tendencies ever be rehabilitated?

@@owenbratt7318 I'm all for second chances but I think in some cases we need to look at the bigger picture. At what cost does this person deserve a second chance? At the cost of someone else getting attacked and her killing a mother, father, child, sister, brother? Remember this woman in an unprovoked attack stabbed an unknown person 22 times and said she felt no high like it. Taking a life was her 1 and only intent. It's not like they got into a fight in a bar or in a fit of rage and hurt she retaliated and took it too far. She premeditated her actions of taking a life. I just don't think there is any rehabilitation for someone who has them tendencies.

I read similarly, and also that the media tried to say they only killed people who bullied them....when clearly they did not. One of the girls who survived being shot testified that one of them asked her "Do you believe in God?" before he shot her. She knew him to speak to, but had never really interacted with him & certainly NEVER made fun of him. Those 2 teens were just evil. Their parents are also responsible for actually seeing guns sitting around their sons' rooms, yet allegedly never did anything about it.

I have one problem with the “social isolation” angle: journals are subjective, and the brains of these people are skewed. I knew a girl who would hurt people and claim that she was being bullied because she had no friends. She would have to be the one in charge at all times and would turn violent and nasty on a dime and often for no reason at all. Several people tried to reach out to her and bring her into their friend group, even feeling extreme guilt over not wanting to be around her. They were convinced that she was going to turn into another school shooter and it would be their fault because they didn’t try harder to be friends with her. And yet she would claim to anyone listening that people just didn’t like how she looked, that people were just mean to her and didn’t want her around for no reason.

Jesus died on the cross for you. He died so you can even have the chance at eternal life. All he asks is too trust in him and repent of your sin. Accept Jesus into ur life now before it’s too late. Jesus is going to come back one day, no one knows the hour nor the day no one but the father in heaven. So why wait, stop living in sin and living for yourself. Give your life to Jesus he loves you and is willing to accept anyone that turns from their sin to him. Everyone in the world has sinned and fallen short of the glory of god. Everyone has broken the moral law(10 commandments) we all deserve to go to hell. But when Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, he took our punishment on the cross that we deserved, that’s how much god loves you. If you have faith that the only reason your going to heaven is because Jesus died on the cross then you will be saved, but In James 2:14-17 it says that faith is dead without works so we need to follow up and repent of our sins. We can’t just say we have faith and not try to live for god. We need to humble ourselves acknowledge that we are not good people but sinful people before god and realize that we are in a bad position and need Jesus to save us. Jesus loves you and is always waiting for you.

I agree with you, a majority of school shooters/murderers are not some poor rejected kids that just wanted friends, there is a reason they didn’t have friends. They were violent, weird (not quirky weird, the “I want to wear your skin” weird) and uncomfortable to be around. Most of them rejected themselves because they look down on society. Do they need help? Yes (anyone who makes a plan to murder someone or to harm them needs help doesn’t matter what the circumstance or situation, if that person has been pushed to that point or they are naturally like that means something is wrong) but does that mean I have to be friends with them? No one deserves friends.

Dylan and Eric always confuse me. Typically when we hear about school shooters, it’s a single kid with pent up anger or depression. It’s hard for me to understand how these two just sat down one day and decided to start talking about shooting up their school. How did whoever brought it up know that the other wouldn’t come clean and tell someone? Just strange. It’s like they had some weird telepathic connection.

@@getmoneydrinkicedcapps2627 That’s not true at all. That sounds like something Dave Cullen would write, Cullen is notorious for way over crediting the duo as genius killers. Wow, the diary entries are so deranged in these stories. I hope that the families of the victims can find peace and potential forgiveness for the actions of their killers or stalkers. For the people that killed or stalked the individuals, I hope they can get the right help because even though it’s easy to say that they should be in jail and get what they deserve. These people are probably dealing with some type of mental disability that needs to be resolved as well.

I read Dylan Klebold's journal cover-to-cover and I still cannot believe no one close to him knew something was wrong. I know sufferers of depression are adept at hiding it, but this kid was suffering full-on psychosis. What he did was unforgivable, but he was *horribly* failed by everyone who should've known he needed help.

first girl deserved life in prison. From how she described it in her diary it sounds like she enjoyed it, it’s sick. She was 100% going to kill again and could’ve even become a serial killer.

As for peers "refusing" to accept Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris as a friends... sometimes, kids don't have any friends for a reason. Sometimes that reason is they are sociopaths and kids instinctively avoid them.

I've been doing journals myself for almost a year now and this topic definitely was terrifying as there are some people lulling those around with a false sense of security as no one would suspect somebody's right state of mind until it's already too late, I felt terrible for that little girl in the first story. It proves that you cannot trust somebody that you know.

Dylan and Eric! Man I remember discovering those two and what they did just a few months ago. Absolutely disgusting and horrific what they did. I do find a little sympathy for both of them due to being bullied BUT that does not excuse their behavior. Also their ' Hitmen for Hire" video sucked due to the poor acting

One tragic aspect of the Columbine shooting is that there is a chance it could have been prevented. A little over a year before the shooting, Eric and Dylan were arrested for breaking into a van and stealing electronic equipment. They were sentenced to a diversion program that included psychiatric treatment and counseling. Eric Harris admitted to his probation officer that he had homicidal and suicidal thoughts. Nothing was done about it besides putting him in an anger management class. After completing his anger management class, he wrote a letter in his diversion file that said "I learned that the thousands of suggestions are worthless if you still believe in violence.''

So many people have been bullied/ treated horribly for being awkward, different race, different background etc etc etc but we don’t go around shooting up our schools/ people. They don’t deserve sympathy. I’m definitely not condoning bulling AT ALL having experienced it severely. But, if I can survive being targeted for being an immigrant, black, shy/ awkward kid WITHOUT shooting up people, there’s really no excuse for these MFS.

I killed someone in my dream, It was some form of dream where I was there and it was me. It felt so real, When I choked and drowned the young girl I felt a rush of joy and relief. When I woke up it took hours for that feeling to shake off, It was very very real for me. Honestly, It was actually a amazing feeling in my own words.

I heard about the first story from a documentary. It was gut wrenching and terrifying how this girl would kill the friend of her younger sister, and no remorse, that's arguably the worst part of it all. A true psychopath. She got what she deserved in the end and thank goodness. Still, I really feel for the family. That pain will never go away. It still hurts to see them in that much pain.
