There was a movie that ended like that - I forget the name. It was more of a dark comedy but in the end the person who was the serial killer throughout the movie hitches a ride, only for the driver to be revealed as another serial killer who was hinted at throughout the movie - they both give each other the side eye without the other knowing, both thinking they picked their next victim. There was someone in her backseat! I probably missed a spot in the story, it’s been a while…but that’s the basic gist of it

My thing with that was, this lady was big and soaking wet. You’re really gonna tell me there wasn’t a trail of water anywhere? Even the pump to the gas station is always covered and she was in the passenger side. If she slipped into the backseat internally, you’ll see a trail of water between the seats leading to the back. Out of place. If she got out, you’d see a trail on the ground where it should be dry. Out of place. If the trail leads away from the pump, she likely did run away. If it remains near or around the car, TIME TO CHECK THE BACKSEAT. 🤦‍♀️ These people kill me. She’s a stranger. Do not trust her regardless of kindness. And also, I don’t want to judge the teeth since a seizure knocked my upper ones out (did not look sane after that), but just something else to remember when she suddenly disappeared.

Hello, I'm the author of #4, man v. man serial killer. I wrote the story, I'm not a pro, so yes maybe sophomoric sometimes. NOT AI, I wrote every word. My English may have been influenced by my having lived in Germany for over 30 years. It will effect one's mother tongue. There seems to have been some kinda issue with my post originally, I'm not sure but Mr Nightmare asked me if it was AI then I said no, and he looked at my upload of my own story on my website and the date . WAY before AI was an issue. Maybe over 5 years ago. For clarification I picked up my art , small paintings, in Paris 1990, and carried them on my back, hitchhiking BACK to Germany (without issue thank God). I'm an expat American, 64 yrs old now. The entire concept of hitchhiking has always scared me. Like no matter if you’re the driver or the hitchhiker it’s a creepy situation. You are either entering the car of someone that you don’t know or you’re letting someone you don’t know into your own car. That seems not smart and could potentially lead to a dangerous situation very quickly.

story 4- Back in 1990 it was a huge thing to hitchhike. Many for DDR (East Germany) freed from the dictator recently...people hitchhiking to see the west. At every truck stop there were always 10 people HHiking. I've even gone with people together hitchhiking. So this was 30 years ago, and I never hitch hike anymore after this horror.

Please don't hitchhike if you've got literally any recourse-- even if it's just a long walk. It is so incredibly dangerous. Yes most people wouldn't do anything, but you're in such a vulnerable state while hitchhiking that the ones who have that urge to hurt people are all the more likely to act on it when they've got you alone in a car they can easily take you/your body someplace to dump after they're done. My mom made sure we knew this lesson because in separate incidents she lost two of her friends in college. They had been tortured and murdered while hitchhiking, and by different sets of people so there were multiple monsters who used that stretch of road (the second incident took place while the killers of the other were in jail so definitively not some serial killer).
