#4 DIY Sprinter Van Conversion in Sign Language: Installing Flarespace Panels

Welcome everyone to part 4 of the 144 sprinter van build. In this installment, I'll be sharing the detailed process of installing the flarespace. This project was both fun and challenging, but the end result is definitely worth it. The flarespace provides extra width to the van, allowing me to install a larger bed sideways. Every inch counts when it comes to optimizing space in a van, and the flarespace has been a game-changer for me.
I'm thrilled to have created a video in sign language for this project. As far as I know, this is a first, and I am passionate about creating more resources for the deaf and hard of hearing community in the realm of van life and van conversion. When I first delved into researching van life and van conversion, I noticed a lack of resources for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. This realization inspired me to launch Deaf Roamer, with the hope of encouraging others to embark on similar journeys.

First, let me say that creating these videos is a pleasure for me. I aim to share my knowledge, my mistakes, and hopefully inspire others. I agree, it is a big decision. For me, I couldn't afford to hire someone to do a full van build or buy an RV, I decided to build it piece by piece within my budget. Over time, I know I'll achieve the dream rig I've always wanted. Everyone has their own path, and I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Wouldratchet strap work on holding the window or would that me to much pressure

Great question. I suppose that would work, I haven’t seen anyone use straps before. But can be a great alternative. Doesn’t need to be too tight at all, but to hold it in place. 👍

how wide is widest distance between new panels?

Good question, about 79-80 inches. Which is the same length as a queen size mattress.
