In 2019 the St. Louis Blues lost a game in the playoffs to the San Jose Sharks due to an overtime goal that was scored from a handpass. It was unchallengeable and the goal stood. If the Blues had not gone on to win the Stanley Cup in those playoffs that moment would be a moment of rage remembered forever in St. Louis. Jomboy even did a breakdown on it at the time called "Sharks win in OT and the Blues threaten to murder the refs" It's crazy that you can't challenge a game-ending OT goal on a clearly illegal play. They even awarded the assist on the goal to the player who did the handpass lol

The K zone box is BS, folks. These guys spin balls that can move a crap ton between the front of the plate and the catchers mitt. Just because catcher catches two inches outside, Doesn’t mean it didn’t catch a corner diagonally. Just go to computerized strike zones that talk to the ump (via an earpiece) for a smooth transition. Nothing aesthetically changes. Ump still makes the call, but it’s instantly we’ll-informed. He’s still there for plays at the plate and other calls.
