Thanks for showing these. Lots to learn from your video. They are not the quickest to set up because they involve trees. Nonetheless, I have a 3x4 tarp and will try a couple of them.

I use a 4m x 4m tarp. I dont use a ridge line and trees. I use my trekking poles. I often use the setup at 18:00 but with a pole at the front and a short pole in the rear to lift the back up. Loads of room... doesnt catch the wind and keeps the weather off me. I once spent 3 days on a mountain waiting for the weather to clear under that very setup.

@@RickallsBushcraft01 I just got a 3.87m /4.84m with a smaller 2.8/3.85 foil lined tarps. Was looking for big tarp set ups and came across your video. Youve gave me good ideas. Away to set of next week up towards the cairngorms edge where there is still woodland and set up a camp for a night or 2 with my pal. Get the fire on and chill out. I lo e the out doors kids channels and your one seems good pal. Keep it up.

Thanks ! I have two 10x12 tarps and always looking for inspiring ways to use them. The smaller and square ones are a bit easier to throw together, but the monster tarps make for deluxe accommodations. That last one was very stealth for such a big space. Enjoyed the video.
