I look at it from a parents perspective. They had this son they lost literally and figuratively, and Evan is telling them these stories to make him better. The way they all followed suit and hit those notes at the end was stunning

That arrangement is one of the most incredible things I've ever heard - I had already heard it like 20 times before this, but seeing your reaction to it just made me so happy!

You should totally react to 'Disappear' from Dear Evan Hansen performed by Taylor Trensch and Alex Boniello. They are soooo good too

I love this video so much. And this is all I wanted

I always come back to this video anyway since I just love the arrangement so much, but after seeing Sam perform last week in London, I'll probably watch it every day. They're all so young and yet have the ability to make people of all ages bawl their eyes out. It's a gift, really.

I had to watch the video twice to really appreciate how good the singing is. They’re such captivating performers that their technique is transparent. The sign of true artists ...

It's also a studio track...would love to see them do it live...

3 Years Later and I keep coming back to this review! ❤ Hannah, your reactions to the back half of the song and mine are almost identical! 😂

Oh Hannah... Your reaction is so genuine and sweet. I was moved at your being moved. I’d never heard this song and it is astonishing.

I saw Stephen Christopher Anthony as Evan during the national tour. He BLEW ME AWAY and made me cry for two hours straight.

@Hannah Bayles Alex Lacamoire has been super busy the past several years, but he was co-arranger (and music director, orchestrator, and conductor on Broadway) for Hamilton. He was music supervisor for DEH, arranged First Burn (which you've also reacted to), he worked on The Greatest Showman... and more.

I've watched these four Evans video countless times. It has over two million views; I'm fairly sure a third of them are just me. I still react like she does every time. I get chills every time. EVERY TIME
