Tip on symmetry: if your team feels a time pressure you can easily get a three tap on the gun and hit solid per shot damage pretty fast. Using a little cover you can basically turn it into a weird homing hipfire aoe hand cannon with a slow fire rate. It also melts clumps of players since it is an aoe

If there's one conclusion I drew from watching CammyCakes go hard with Frenzy, its that Frenzy is only viable if you're running Gemini Jesters to tag people through walls, or Thorn, scorch, or other DoTs to keep the timers going... Or else Frenzy isn't there when you ACTUALLY need it, making it hard to use it to effect when it matters, making it a wasted perk. Half the time I get it to activate, people just run away from me and the perk expires, making me pray for another long 7 seconds of consistent non-lethal combat to hope it gets rolling again. Its ESPECIALLY gruesome since it usually robs you of other juicy column 4 perks in the process. I'll try Frenzy out again per your suggestion, if I happen to get a solid weapon with it. I'll change my opinion if I can make it work in this sandbox. But I'm 80% sure this is cap and cope in terms of value proposition.

Frenzy is most effective in 6s for this reason and it's why Cammy runs Jesters when using it since it lets him tag enemies through walls for free when he plays 3s.

I've never liked chaining perks in PVP because I rarely can get into a second gun fight in the short timeframe of the perk. Things like kill clip get tons of hype, but I'd much rather have more consistency perks so every fight is smoother, not just every fifth fight.

I used Revision Zero back when it was checkmate Trials on Meltdown for Cataphract and got over 200 kills with it. Absolutely love it and I intend to play Multiplex with it tomorrow. Another sleeper is Disparity with the Hunter Athry's Embrace. Disparity is already an easy 2 burst, add in swash for a quick .6, its fun in 6s to fry people fast at ranges and they have no idea why.

More primary duels not competing against snipers and range nerfs on other weapons help it breathe bigger health pulls and hand holding allows you to get precision hits faster to get charges to get the .5 ttk

The Reconstruction and Focused Fury Trustee is honestly one of my favorite guns. The origin trait giving you ability energy back and it being Solar so I can pair it with Khepri's Horn to get my Barricade back 3 or 4 times faster than normal is just the icing on the cake of an already amazing 4 tap machine.

Frenzy is a great perk. It activates a lot in 6,v6 and it just makes a weapon feel alive. I have a heating up/frenzy gridskipper with 100 recoil direction and it's by far my best 540 in pvp.

Important note: Focused Fury DOES take into account magazine increases like Tactical/Appended/Extended Mag or the Back-Up Mag mod. Those perks WILL increase your bullets needed to proc. Stuff that bypasses reloading like Thread of Ascent, Overflow, or Genesis can let you avoid the perk build-up resetting though!

I absolutely love Frenzy! I've been using it in PvE constantly since it was introduced. It's the old meta of reload+damage perk in one, plus handling. I'm a big advocate for frenzy, mainly in PvE, and this video has made me realize the effectiveness of it in PvP. I'll definitely give it a try at some point.

Have you tried out Tommy’s Matchbook? I haven’t tried it yet but Bungie was very specific with on the HP increase. The Health was raised from 70-100. Nothing with Shields. So you have a 40+% increase in health to play with. So you can tank more things which should be deadly with such a fast TTK

I feel like snipers are less common because most people would want to run a cqc primary with it but with less special they won’t have enough range to deal with more than 2 ranged primaries. I haven’t minded snipers personally but I use smgs and gl most of the time

Symmetry should get that arc 3.0 treatment. Get its arc seekers to jolt targets on contact. Would probably be the best jolt weapon. Doesnt need kills to activate its perk. Would allow more forgiveness in pve and pvp. Though im sure theyd tune its damage down for pvp.

shoutout to harmony as well for those of us running a sidearm instead of a spec weapon. its insane. .5 ttk on a 450 rapid fire sidearm. LONG timer for such a good damage buff. Also, frenzy heal clip gonna be a meta roll on something- keep you in the fight if you get your health back after getting a kill. I have that roll on my helio and on an igneous hammer

Already got 7k kills on my little rev zero, so here's my lil guide: 3v3: 2-burst, teamshoot, peakshoot, wait for sniper. The longer fight is, the more powerful u get 6v6: 4-birst is good, cuz u get sniper faster. Engage more, a little bit aggressive even. ALWAYS if u get sniper, repeak the place u were engaging with pulse. They don't expect it.
