23mm, 35mm, 56mm on Fuji that is all I use for portraiture. mostly now just a 23mm F/1.4 Sigma, and 56mm F/1.4 Sigma, my Fav 3rd party glass, but you can take great photos on an extreme low budget with a manual lens from 7Artisans, TT artisans and numerus others at a fraction of the cost. If you have no budget constraints, then the XF lenses are probably better, but if you can get 95% of the quality which is not noticeable when printed for a fraction of the cost.... it just makes business sense. That was the decision I made between the XF 56mm F/1.2 R WR and the Sigma 56mm F/1.4 the 56mm F/1.2 was better (just) , but my clients could not tell the difference and definitely would not pay more for the photos just because the glass was more expensive... but each to their own and enthusiasts that are not looking at costs (or Pros where someone else is picking up the bill), will always buy what they want :)

I’ve pretty much bought all my lenses used if I find a good deal. I’m with you on the fact that everyday clients don’t see the difference in the photos, but I guess it’s more of a thing that suits the eye and what you prefer. I know I could get a Zeiss lens or a 7artisan etc. but I’d be usually losing autofocus and that’s just a comfort I’m not willing to lose. The sigmas are usually great though. That’s my next purchase if I’m going to get a new lens.
