I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one thinking this meta is strange. Seems like people hit really disgusting high rolls (and can stay for some time) on tavern 4 and you can get steamrolled really early.

Pretty much this. The short-term gains from especially beasts and mostly also dragons in particular are overpowering pretty much everything else. Yes you can beat them later on, but not if you are already dead since almost always damage dealt will be maxed out to 15 after like turn 5. So from my experience you just go either of those two tribes to get an easy place 3 or 4 most of the time. It is the boring way to play but most people seem to do it.

Hit Greymane while on Tier 2 as Galakrond. Farmed two golden Skyfins, a golden Whelp smuggler and scaled up a Lasso mech from a 6 drop scout. Easiest top 2 I've ever had, and I only lost to a Quillboard with 1000s of stats. The card is nutty

I also feel like dragons shouldn’t cap that early. I mean you can kinda get every drake on poisonous level attack but unless you do some shop buffing - demon shenanigans with the 2/3 your hp values are gonna be abysmal..

Honest question...Why is Greymane's champion literally twice as strong as Mooneater's? I know there are more copies of 5s than 6s, but basically every token generator is even cost nowadays so it's just asking for shenanigans.

19:39 ive had nearly that exact board and stomped a 5k lobby. Hes missing Barron and 2 Nighbanes and another Poet. Only way to get those dragons attack into the 1,000's.

Dog is so close to the ultimate comp. Instead of the battlecry elemental he should be copying the whistler battlecry. And instead of the end of turn murloc he should he running the spellcraft battle cry Naga. Both low tier units so you can golden them with the new spell. Would've had 10x the board size. I've reached 50 gold turns with 1000/1000 stats using this and my apm is like half of dogdog, would be sick to see what he could accomplish.

What is the „whistler battlecry“?

@@maomaeramnon3870 The 3 star naga that has battlecry: give a tavern 2 spell, called Shell Whistler. Since every battlecry gives a tavern 2 spell, every spell triggers your greymanes. Since half of tavern 2 spells give you MORE gold, you quickly go infinite. Only thing holding you back is your APM and animations.
