This is such a good idea!! I’m so happy I came here. Thank you! I grew up in a family with a major deficit in love and an abundance of greed. The things I witnessed and experienced still bring up strong emotions. This has 100 percent influenced my relationship with money. Again, I’m so happy I came here today. It is a testament that if we put an intention out there, the universe will do what it does time and time again, and deliver. My favorite thing, is how funny the universe is in its delivery most of the time. 😂 Thank you for commenting here. Hi I came over from Gillian’s channel - the big change I made a number of years ago was to stop saying I couldn’t afford something. I changed it to “how can I make this work?” It gave me the freedom to become creative in solving perceived problems and embracing the idea that I can do anything! It is very empowering.

Here from Gillians'! Love your answers video 👌 A very limiting belief I had: "Ppl who go after money are shallow. They just love to show off, they're not focused on adding any value to the world." Which I realised a few months ago is complete rubbish! Because: All the great breakthroughs mankind has made were possible because there was money! When you build a school, make medical research advance, create facilities to help out ppl, etc? It's only possible with big money 💵 And the truth is that poor ppl are more limited in the ways they can help others and make a difference in the world.

Everytime I get money it goes away as soon as it comes in. For example if I get more money one month than I did the las, usually something happens like, maybe my car breaks down or I get an extra bill in the bank so I will need to spend all my money on that. I really want this to stop happening. Can someone plz help me with this? I really think this is because of some beliefs I have about money but I cannot figure out what they are.

Hello Tara! I’m a new subscriber from Gillian’s channel. I love your format and look forward to watching more of your videos. - I came from a very frugal family. We used coupons and I learned how to balance a budget at age 10. Fast forward 25 years...while I realize that I was great at budgeting I was extremely stingy when it came to spending money on myself, thus starting a business was extremely difficult. I didn’t feel like I had what it took to step out of my comfort zone. I am still working through some of the kinks, however I am enjoying money conversations more. -Thank you for sharing your perspective and being so personable. ☺️-Torrie

Fabulous. At last someone who talks about Money. We need to talk more I read Money Master the Game and Unshakable by Tony Robbins and oh my goodness a light went on so much in my head because of the value of the books I created my own company to empower women to start talking and learning a new language 👏bravo. But unfortunately the Money Mindset go so much deeper than what we think. Both Spiritually and Generationally. Emotionally. This is also Societal. But a fantastic opportunity as for what is happening with the world. We now have to be multitalented and multiskilled. Life is never going to be the same again. But life can be extraordinary if you learn about Money from videos such as these and reading everyday. The more you learn is the more you can earn. It's a time of self education now and will be for some time so use your time wisely and learn from the best of what they have to offer because freedom is what everyone is buying if they want to financially secure and free.

I hope that helps! Thanks so much for replying so quickly

Ahh this is helpful! I think this is less about money and more about BOUNDARIES. Not everyone is a safe container for your dreams! Those that truly need to be involved in the decision (like spouses) are a different story, but other people tend not to know how to sort through what's best for them vs you vs fears and so on. Find a trusted but unbiased 3rd party for advice and surround yourself with those on a similar path for encouragement!

my conversations about money are never positive. I am currently shifting my money mindset

Maybe it's because I'm from the UK but I can't hear much difference between how you pronounce your own name and how Gillian does. You don't want to hear how someone from Yorkshire, England pronounces 'Tara' ;) Even though I've been self-employed since I was 18, I've always had a poor money mindset. I am chronically ill/disabled and never went to college, couldn't work a 'normal' job and just subscribed to the fact I would always be just scraping by due to my health. I realised a few years back this was only true if I believed it was true. If I dismissed my dreams and believed they would never be a reality, they absolutely wouldn't! As soon as I started believing in myself, believing that anything is possible, things started changing. Reading You Are A Badass At Making Money by Jen Sincero was my first 'ah ha' moment with this, but watching videos like yours and Gillian's, really help affirm that anything is possible! In the last year, I've started my third (now successful) business basically from my home/bed and am in the process of starting my fourth which is to help people in my situation do the same. I think that moment you stop believing everything you've ever known about money is the beginning of a complete change and a whole world opens up from there!

You, my friend, ARE a badass. As a fellow entrepreneur with a disability and autoimmune disorder, I HEAR YOU. I've had to work on that same belief, and you're 100% right. WE make the rules and define who we are. There might be things we do differently, but why does that mean success isn't possible? Maybe it even makes it more possible. 🙌🏻 Kudos to you boss lady! ❤️

@@TaraWagner Aw thank you! I really appreciate that. To hear you're coming from a similar situation makes you even more inspiring! Honestly, that alone is giving me a kick up the arse I need to start my youtube/blog which I'm still stalling on. As much as I believe in myself and have 20 years experience which I know could be of value, that self-doubt is still there. But if I can do what I've done, anyone can and I'd love to pass that on to others :) Thank you for the encouragement

I hear you! But remind yourself that you don't need to be at step 10 to help someone at step 0. You have insight that others need. It's your JOB to pay that forward. xo

Hey Tara hw are you doing? Needless to say I'm having money block n am on my way to change it n in the process just came across your video 🙂.. Whenever I like something or want to get something that gives me comfort or happiness but is expensive as per my money book I end up buying something cheaper or not buying at all... Thinking that no no i should not splurge like that I need to pay bills next month which is more important than spending on myself or I start thinking that if I spend on myself or pamper myself my savings may get lil less... Now the question for you is Tara should I let go off this fear of lack n spend as n how I wish to with a smile on my face?? Will that help me to improve my equation with money? Please do reply.. Thank you so much. Be Blessed Be Happy Everyone 🤗😍😘🥰 Shailyy 🤓🇮🇳

No I don’t think you should buy something you can’t currently afford. It may give you a temporary good feeling but it’ll cause more stress later by sabotaging your budget. Instead, save for it. It builds the self discipline, works toward the goal, still affirms to yourself that you’re worth it, and then getting it is that much sweeter!

Some blocks are subconscious... what to do if you don't realize you have mony blocks?
@TaraWagner2 жыл бұрын
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But if you just can't find the blocks (but can tell they're there by how you feel or what you're not able to do), get support!

Sooo... Do you recommend writing down your current thoughts about money so that you can recognize them? Next... Here is where my mind is currently stuck... We are working hard to pay off our student loan debt. I want to do this as quick as possible & so I am conscious of every penny I spend. Which, until we pay it off is VERY little. And I think about it ALL day. My mind is currently negative about money because every cent is being thrown at this debt. The debt has become this monster that I want to tackle. So everytime a bump comes up ( the disher breaks.. a vet bill... ) I am thankful we have the cash BUT mad ( more than mad) that this means the monster will take longer to kill.... Of course paying off debt is my priority now but i know its affecting my money mindset. I guess I am lost at how to my money head on straight in terms of tackling debt. I know... Crazy long comment!

YES write it all down! We recognize so much more when we get it out of our heads. Also, read the book The Art of Money! Her thoughts on reframing debt I think will REALLY support you!
