I’m older now. 😳 I have to do more. Eyebrows ( they’re almost nonexistent now), eyeliner( it makes my eyes show up and makes them larger looking), Moisturizer with spf, a little foundation, sometimes lipstick, then I feel better and more comfortable. I tuck, I wear a belt, recently stopped using my larger handbags, I wear earrings out and about…. I’ve left the house without some of these things before and did regret it. I do these small things to be comfortable and feel like me. I also think my husband appreciates me taking care of myself and that I make a little effort. I really am enjoying your videos, your expressive voice and humor, and your sense of style. You are delightful ❣️

My lazy tip: a white or beige monochrome outfit (I don’t look great in darks or brights, but these work, too). I also like very simply-cut clothes, they’re more elegant than elaborate ones, always, and fine fabrics.

I always tuck in my tops. Long tops hanging out visually shorten the legs, giving unflattering, stumpy proportions. It doesn’t matter if you have a round tummy or not, tucking in tops is more important than hiding your tummy.

I finally figured out who you remind me of! Young Bridget Moynahan, specifically as Natasha in SATC. She was infinitely elegant. I have to concur with the simpler makeup tip. As I’ve left my 20s I’ve noticed simple but well executed makeup is much more flattering and chic. The colorful and artsy editorial look was fun when I was younger, but I just look bizarre if I wear that now. And seeing that my daily life is not going to the Met Gala, I’m okay with toned down makeup. I do love a good false lash, but the huge ones that have taken hold today seem too gaudy. Great tips!
