The first few releases from KARD were sponsored by LG. KARD's label, DSP Media, is a really small company and they were taking a risk debuting a co-ed group (hence all of KARD's "pre-release" tracks), so they really needed any additional funds they could get. In 2022, RBW (mamamoo's label) acquired DSP, so the label became something of a subsidiary of RBW, meaning that KARD has recently been getting a bigger budget and slightly better management.
