I have a hard time understanding this part: "(...) the creation of a space for a 'subject peoples' through the production of knowledges in terms of which surveillance is exercised and a complex form of pleasure/unpleasure is incited" [10:09] would anybody bother to explain or (preferably) give examples?

I won't claim that I have understood everything. I will try to explain it in my own words. I might be wrong. Imagine the apparatus of power/ colonizer is the Big Boss. The space which is created for the subject people is the house of Big Boss. It is created through the production of knowledge meaning Big Boss knows everything about his contestants (subject people)like who they are, what they are doing right now. The Big Boss gets voyeuristic pleasure by watching his "subject people". At the same time he is also afraid that his subject people might break free and will no longer be under his surveillance. This causes his "unpleasure". If someone can explain it further please do. Thank you in advance.
