personally my strategy has been heavy rb the first 2 rounds (since there isn't a surplus of them - note: pretty much just bijan and gibbs) then receivers and te through 3-5, qb or depth depending on the board 6-12 (targeting kyler, najee, ladd, and tj in essentially every league) then defense and kicker in late late rounds. ive also made a effort to grab either caleb in 13 or herbert in 16 depending on the board.

Great insight. It's really not a strategy, but if you look at week 14, which is the first round of playoffs, The Ravens and Texans are on bye. So unless you are planning on getting a bye in the 1st round, you might want to consider not drafting L. Jackson, D. Henry, M. Andrews. Texans WR s, QB. Also Colts Broncos. These players might get you to the playoffs, but presents a problem in Round 1...

The allure of RB's is every RB1 on a team will get touches and passes and it's almost guaranteed to get decent points but folks trying to go after RB's in the 1st round aren't really going to get more points than an RB in the 2nd or 3rd round. A round 1 WR is way more likely to get more points than a round 2 or 3 WR.

Will probably go with a Hero RB strategy, picking 5th this year. Focused on WRs and a 2nd RB rounds 2-6 unless there is a "run" on QBs or TEs...hoping to pick up QB round 5 or 6 at the latest and hoping someone like Kincaid or even Kittle will be available round 7 or 8. Wanting to pick up a "set it and forget it" D/ST no later than round 13. Hoping for a hand-cuff RB round 14 or 15.

Can you do a video defining the best strategy for types of leagues? For example PPR vs Standard Redraft vs Dynasty 8 man vs 12 man TE requires vs no TE required 1 QB vs 2 QB I’m in one of the weirdest leagues ever. 8 man league, 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 2 Flex 1 K and D/ST. It’s nonppr standard scoring but there are 3 bonus points awarded when your player goes over 100 yards in a game and bonus points for scoring long touchdowns: 15-25 yard TD = 3 bonus points 25-35 yard TD = 5 bonus points 35-45 yard TD = 7 bonus points 45-55 yard TD = 10 bonus points These rules change strategy significantly

in a 3wr + 1 flex 12man ppr my draft mates take early rb’s i think i’m gonna try to go heavy wr initially especially if i’m a top 7 pick. ofc if value falls i’ll take it but late rb’s will bring wins

1. Zero WR strategy - you do NOT need to go Hurts and Mark Andrews in rounds 3/4. You could likely have Waddle, Deebo, Nabers, Kupp, etc, and hold out for Kyler and Dalton Kincaid. You basically strategically destroyed the idea of double hero RB in a draft year where not going RB in the early rounds will leave you with worse options than WR later in drafts.

Agreed. I think the zero wr can work for the 3 rounds. going to round 6 without a wr i do believe is wrong. I would never take qb te first without wr

@@Whynotntn in this years draft, 100%. There are so many unknown commodities at WR in round two. I will skip whatever Drake London is all day for a double hero RB and take shots on known commodities like Waddle, Kupp, and Deebo in round 3-4. My team realistically could be Barkley/Taylor/Waddle/Kupp/Kyler/Kincade and I can still pull the trigger on guys with upside like Watson and Hollywood and avoid Singletary and Najee. Have fun with London and Singletary lol

@@Whynotntn lol, don’t do it. These analysts love to play that up. Last year Jefferson went down, Kupp went down, people got extremely lucky with Amon-Ra. Chase and Wilson lost their QB’s. Waddle went down, “Mark Andrews” went down. Why play if we overthink that? Remember two seasons ago when Tua went down? Tyreek is tied to that dude too. If they zig, we have to zag. I’ve never been a RB RB guy, but this year is the year if you play it smart. IMO

i will note btw im a dallas fan (granted very down on this team and pulling for us to be bad so we can reset lol) but our D might be a bust this year. we have a BRUTAL schedule. dak is notorious for playing bad against good teams and we have 11 legit playoff teams we will got up against in 2024. i have a good feeling that dak will play like shit and the defense will suffer bc of this, so i personally would draft either the jets, bears, or chiefs this year.
