I grew up in the streets, the streets raised me and made me a gangster, I was a blood, I sold dope. Been in shoot outs, fights, in and out of jail since age 17, I robbed people and got robbed. I was a drunkard, fornicator, I use to club and pop pills, but i had a encounter with JESUS while in jail facing 5-10 years.. and JESUS made me over again at age 23.. 8yrs later hallelujah I'm still free and born again, JESUS a mighty deliverer bless his Holy name

I suggest, reading “ Release the Power of Prayer, George Muller . Whitaker House published . He set up an orphanage in Bristol, England. So many he blessed from the streets. I thank the Lord for embracing you and you opening the door of your heart and soul. Your young, and to grow and following HIS path. What were they singing on such an occasion? PRAISE! Psalms 113-118. THE GOOD NEWS "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." John 14:6 Jesus Christ loves us! We believe this! John 3:16-17. We believe Him and who He is! He is our Savior! GOD THE SON! ONLY HE SAVES. Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US AND LIVES AGAIN! 1 Corinthians 15: 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay for all our sins. 1 John 2:1-2. He died on our behalf! We believe in Him and who He is, trusting the shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins, and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day for our eternal life! John 20:24-31. HE LIVES EVERMORE! We can live forever through Him. God forgives our sins through Him otherwise our sins will prevent us from living in Glory with Him and our family in the faith the Bible describes. We study to show ourselves approved in wisdom and further truths about Him! We are in a family! God's family. CHRIST'S BRIDE! We got to know Jesus Christ better and better! Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more than, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him." HE LIVES! JESUS LIVES!

Rejoice in Hope from Romans 5:1-4 is such a beautiful, beautiful hymn. Then one could memorize the verses by singing along! It is interesting that the version being used is KJV. The verse with "patience, experience" really stood out to me. The solo was so elegant and the music flowed so well. For some reason I felt I learned something more about the verse with the word "experience". May God bless all of your work and those who came across these lovely hymns!
