3rd comment YAY! Keep up the great videos. Some of these stories are really good. I might order a custom recorded LP of them on vinyl.

The 1st story hits home for me. Im my Dads caretaker for the last 8yrs. I wouldn't ever think about putting Dad in a retirement home.

Don't be judgemental. My wife works in a female Alzheimer's ward in a respite hospital and has done for 2 years. Aggressive and violent behaviour is not uncommon. Verbal abuse as well. Cleaning them up after they poop themselves or even worse a poop smeared bedroom and these are people that are watched over. That's only a tiny part. It's extremely hard on families because it is a 24hr a day par taking with no breaks. It's not something that's going to improve, only worsen. They forget who you are. Not all people are natural care givers and sometimes it's safer for the Alzheimer's person to be somewhere they are actually taken care of properly.
