tip: you can leave all lights on downstairs (not including the garage) and it wont effect how much dad wakes up but it will effect the generator slightly. tip 2: you can actually run instead of crouching (heavily recommended since crouching is too slow) edit: and also btw if youre in the kitchen and dad wakes up immediately crouch bc that wont make any noise so then dad would check the room and when he doesnt see you you can get a headstart running to your bedroom

Almost every other night I would sneak downstairs to steal one of those Orange Sunkists from the fridge. I was successful too, but little did my young self know that my grandma was already onto me… One night-and I’ll NEVER FORGET THIS- I was doing my usual routine of sneaking downstairs quietly to steal another soda from the fridge, and I thought I had made it again until I saw a human-shaped figure sitting on the couch- IN THE DARK MIGHT I ADD- in the living room (it was connected to the kitchen). I thought it was a demon. Nope. It was my grandma. Long story short, I almost died that night and this game just reminded of it😭

I can give yall a tip. when u have to turn off the lights don't do it til u cook more food on the table so that way u don't have to cook when dad gets evil. Also refill gen when it's at 20 - 40. If you're very hungry don't be scared and run for it and run back. It's better to do that because u might die from the hunger. always have a gas can in your inventory to refill gen quickly. Use these tips and maybe it can help you win.
