That's what I like about Greg, when things go wrong, or he makes a mistake he doesn't try to hide it, or make excuses. He's straight forward down to earth, no airs and graces guy. Every time I watch his videos there's always something new to learn . I thoroughly enjoy every one of his videos, and also learn many things not just about survival, but also the very important do's and don'ts concerning safety in natures environment. That could save someone a great deal of trouble and even save lives. Another super Rocky Mountain Bush Craft.

I was happy to find a new adventure! I was really hoping you hooked a little bigger fish. I could have easily watched a 2 hour version? Did DJ get a fish? Your decision to move the fires was IMO a good one. I watched a different survivalist find an underground fire from a previous camper that had traveled quite a distance from the original fire underground. He called and reported it, waiting until they came with water, shovel’s and properly put it out. It was kind of you to let DJ slide on the extra items included with his lighter.👍 Would you ever consider a longer version of some videos (if you have enough footage)? I would travel from the UK to do one of these challenges with you Greg. In the UK it is really hard to find a place that you can camp and start a fire. I used to be quite a big Les Stroud fan, but on a bad day I saw an episode in an environment I was actually familiar with, and then another when he was with a partner. completely missed the points I would have considered pivotal, to the point of lies (not just TV magic), and then in the second Ep treated his companion like his manservant Friday. in a one day he went from minor god to douchebag, in my eyes. i understand there is a show to be made, but this was unforgivable levels. I get none of that vibe from Greg. im glad your inspired, but pick your heros....

Good day Greg ........ I am so glad you explained to your viewers this important fire safety tip at timestamp 24:52 ......... I already knew the ground you guys were on was unsafe for fires and was pretty sure that was why you were not going to light a fire....... People do not realize that when a forest fire dies out in the fall it doesn't mean the fire is out as the fire is still smolding in the peat and if there is not enough snow to melt and put it out then in the spring that fire can reignite and start all over burning everything in its path........

thanks for sharing. considering the location - my 4 would be a filter-straw, blanket, poncho, and lighter. tough one to decide!, but my emphasis would be staying dry/warm, and hydrated. hard to imagine not having a cutting tool, but maybe I could break a rock :) and find fishing line - always finding fishing line and lures...otherwise berries and shrooms doesn't sound that bad.

I wonder if you could save some of your paracord by weaving it through the supports down the length of your shelter. In the Faroe Islands the saying goes " A knifeless man is a lifeless man ". Therefore many have a pocket knife. The classic being the Victorinox Floral Knife in red or blue. You can find peat by putting a stick farther into the ground. If it comes up looking like it has been in thick excrement and feels fat or oily, you have peat. By having someone else stand some odd yards away you can stomp on the soil. If the someone feels the stomp, you probably have a lot of peat.
