Zabrdst recipe , but I have a question. If I want to halve this recipe for 2 pounds, would it be 4 eggs, 140g sugar, 100g oil, and 165g flour? Or should I use 120g sugar, 80g oil, and 160g flour (based on the measurement for one egg)? In other words, when doubling or halving a recipe, should I calculate based on the measurement for one egg, as you previously mentioned , or simply halve or double all the ingredients? Both methods yield slightly different results.

Veeryyy good question love it. I really like the ppeole who try hard to learn .rather than just asking queation without doing any effort. Ok dear let meexplain. Both method are good. U can half the recipe as it is. Or on the other hand u canfollow my recipe gor 1 egg 40g flour etc .both will give u perfect result. The recipe i taught in 4 poumd chocolate cake recipe was for order work when u want height in your cakes bcoz fudge filling never make 2pound heighted cake especially if we r baking in 6 inch pan.bcoz we nees bith hwight and width accirding to the design ao that recipe ae perfect. But if u r making simple chocolate cream cake than use my 1 egg measurment method . Bvoz with creamfilling well get height . Hope u will understand my point

Hey Nadia, I have watching your videos for quite sometime and really appreciate your knowledge. But this video of 4 pound cake measurements has made me a bit confused. Since you mentioned measurements with one egg as of 40g Flour, 30g sugar, 20g oil. But in this video you did not use the formula. I know this is chocolate cake and not vanilla, but I thought we only take away some Flour and replace that with cocoa powder but other ingredients and quantities remain the same. Could you please take some time to reply? Sorry for long comment, your content is worth watching though. Keep up the good work.
