This brings back memories of my friend Bobber's outdoor 2' gauge railroad through his property. He had a Plymouth gas engine and 4 cars, all purchased from a local amusement park. It was a hoot to ride, even though it only went in a large circle, meandering past trees and over small trestles. He eventually moved and the railroad was dismantled.

We have a friend of ours that has a 7.5 layout on approximately 30 acres, but unfortunately if something happens to him his kids are not interested and would probably dismantle and sell everything. Sure hope this layout will continue on, very nice.

Not sure nobody’s sure but I have a funny feeling this railroad will live on for quite some time

30 acres?! Wow! That sounds amazing!

All of those western cedars is almost looks like middle Tennessee , no offense it does.We have tons and tons, acre acres upon acres of their brother is it sister how about either. One dry summer and boom! We look like southern central Utah. Another awesome video! At 14:31 the shot of the Prickly Pear or that what we call cactus here in middle Tennessee.The red fruit was/can be eaten. Scorch the pickles off the green lobes and they are consumable.

Yes Flyers are a real threat out there. That very first year we were laying track a wild fire came through and we were really scared we were gonna lose the whole thing. With the fire department turned it in and headed south and that was that. But there’s always that danger. This is a pretty common look out here and with the cedar trees and everything in place it does look a tremendous amount like Central Utah which is where Karyn is from.

Now all your buddy needs to do is make little township's around the loops and charge for admission, just like Tiny Town at Turkey Creek Canyon just outside of Denver, CO but better and larger!!

It’s a funny thing but he likes it just like it is. And he has no interest at all in inviting in the public. He just likes to play with his trains
@numbereightyseven2 жыл бұрын
I'm not into trains, but this is awesome. I've watched the whole vid more than once. But a question: why not add one or two comforts, like backrests. That round trip is surely more than an hour. Or even a good-sized fan to keep cooler in front of. I admit that drink bottle holders might be a step too far.
@LisaKEntertainment7 ай бұрын
😂 you should design something like that! Drink holders are a great idea ☺️ And love that without even an interest in trains, this pulled you in. It’s very pleasant and heart-filling… calm with a good soundtrack 👍
