I can't decide whether the book is worthy of the binding or the binding is worthy of the book. In either case, this is truly brilliant!

46:02 maybe it was just FLIPPING freezing 🥶 one year and so they decided to move in. With its double thickness stone walls, turf insulated roof, non flammable construction materials and cleverly designed “wind proof” entrance. One bitterly cold winters day, someone said - “bugger staying in this flimsy cold mud and twig structure (that bloody leaks). I’m going over to sleep in that big stone place. Are you guys coming?”

The "Dark Ages" were not really so dark. People were travelling, making elaborate items, had burial rituals and MORE.

The crew of tank 796 may well have been brave enough to get to the Hindenburg Line but the question still remains why the other tanks didn't. Some geeky archaeologists 100yrs later can't possibly think they can so readily refute the Australian claims on the basis of the bravery of just one of the tank crews.

I find these people so solid in their statements, "this is the way it is without doubt" until something else in time is found shooting down their all knowing attitudes in things. I never hear "So far we think" or we think this is, , , but rather "We are the science and you better listen to us", the arrogance is deafening.

Even Viking boat burials are dug up in Scandinavia and other places. The excavations a lot of times are done by archaeologists because of housing or road construction so that the value of the information from the archeology will not be lost. Also basically if you don't like what they're doing in these shows then don't watch them.
