I really enjoyed seeing Madelief ride Uniek. Usually when she's being ridden all we see is the top of her head and her ears because Yvonne and the camera are on her back. She looks so beautiful and majestic as she moves. I really believe that Risey is in the best place possible right now. I don't know if anybody else would give him the amount of love and care that Yvonne does.

I'm amazed by the detail that Uniek didn't try to court Risey even she is in heat. She only went to On Top and Dreamy. That's a sing that she recognizes Risey as her son even he is now an adult horse.

I am sure she did during her cycle. We just didn't see it in video. Horses (most animals) don't comprehend familial relationships after their young have weaned and separated. Mating will absolutely occur. That is why the colts are separated away from their mems and all other females while still young. Rinse Janko was weaned early because of this behavior with his mem Pjirkje. And its the same reason Spidey was separated while Daisy was in heat. I am not saying Uniek does not recognize Risey as a foal she raised... but for horses, familial relationships are not a thing like for humans.🧡🧡

Risey's sister is lovely with those tall white boots that make her look like she is prancing. We all hope he is getting better. I'm curious why Rein is buying non-Friesians---is it for riding horses or is he thinking of breeding another type? They look like KPWN.
