Which NFL Player Do You Think Disappointed In 2024? 🤔 ALSO, Ran Carthon was fired during the making of this video and this a decision I completely disagree with. There will be a video on the Titans within the next few weeks discussing their situation and break down everything. I strongly, strongly disagree with the decision to fire Ran and wish him the best moving forward.
@DeckofLies15 күн бұрын
I can’t believe the Titans fired Ran and not Callahan. I’d be fine with both being canned, but aside from some hard misses like Levis, Ran has drafted well and assembled good talent. The horrible year is 100% due to coach, and we are going to ruin yet another top prospect QB by firing their first coach when he sucks again next year. Cant learn from ourselves, can’t learn from the Bears, I’m really hurting inside man.

Everyone is trying to find their Patrick Mahomes that will lead their team to the promised land. I do think teams are putting too much pressure on freshly drafted rookie QBs and expecting them to win big as soon as they step on the field, especially if they don't build a team for them to work with. I'm talking: a competent Offensive line to protect him, good receivers to throw to, a good running back to take the pressure off and a solid defense to bail him out of necessary.

The idea or mentality behind the "he's athletic" is that they have all the tools to be a QB: fast, strong arm, height, etc. The problem isn't the athletic part but the football IQ and QB intellect that aren't put into consideration. If a QB throws it and it person catching it does not make the play such as bounces off their hands, or through their hands or off their sholder pad or if a lineman tips it and it goes up, that should not be on the QB. Now if the DB steps in front like reading the play, or the ball is over thrown right to the arms, or they make a good play to get it, yes, that is on the QB. Just like a pitcher in baseball. I think Levis is still the guy. Too many rookies don't get a long enough on-ramp. Teams give up on them too soon. Same with Richardson. They just need solid, patient coaches.

Looking at Trevor Lawrence and many others, we've seen how a short introduction to the NFL can decimate a QB.

Putting CJ in this list is crazy. The offensive line was atrocious. They couldn’t run the ball. And they won their division, and beat the chargers in the playoffs. Where is Adam, Purdy, Roger’s, etc

I can't help but think of what Tony Romo could of been if he would of had another year or 2 to sit and learn. Bill Parcels knew it. He was trying to do it the right way but Jerrah screwed it all up.

I've been watching NFL est 92. My era was very patient with QBs. They just rush the QBs in now. I'm a Florida fan, Anthony Richardson should have sat year 1#. I could have told you he didn't play enough even with us. NFL got spoiled with QB success in year 1. That's not the norm.

For the record, Dan Campbell was only half right. They'll see the Vikings in two weeks only if neither the Packers nor Commanders win. If either of them win, they'll see the Vikings in three weeks. Doesn't make a good handshake speech though. ;-)
@johnchedsey130615 күн бұрын
Richardson is looking like an all time bust. He might dazzle with an insane throw every once in awhile, but that inaccuracy is an offense killer. Colts need to be ready to pull the plug on him next year if he doesn't jump to 60% completion right away. He strikes me as someone who got away with being a freak of nature his whole pre-NFL career, but everyone in the NFL is a freak of nature. Will Levis should try to be a backup on a good org with good offensive coaches. Just learn as much as he can and see if he can improve his decision making. I think he still has potential, but it won't be with the Titans, who will ruin their next QB. I could picture the Sanders family telling the Titans not to bother drafting Shadeur.
