It’s the conclusion of my MSC cruise and the series ‘4 Nights on MSC Virtuosa: Day 5 Disembarkation Day’. I mean, no surprises here, but I am going to talk through how disembarkation works on MSC for all passengers, plus those in Yacht Club where things are a tad different! We'll talk luggage, where you can eat on your last morning and the usual ritualistic behaviours that possess me every time I have to get off a ship! Also, one last breakfast, getting told off by passengers, Maffoo comes to the rescue on what ends up being a rail strike day, and final thoughts from home. Would I sail MSC again?!

Not sure if I already commented here when I watched this video BUT Jamiiiiiieeeeeeee I BOOKED MY FIRST CRUISE & I sail in 24 days!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! Nervous excited sick EVERYTHING! Send help! I grabbed an amazing deal on the brand new MSC Euribia heading to the Northern pearls for 1 week It was just £340pp for an inside cabin.. BUT when I checked in on the MSC website I saw that my cabin was already allocated and I was In a deluxe balcony cabin. So I must of been upgraded for free! I can’t believe it my first cruise and this happens. Thank you Jesus! Will be rewatching this blog series and paying much more attention to things like food ect as I assume it would be similar to the Euribia I always thought my first cruise would be on P&O next year.. but I’m soo excited to just cruise and this deal was so good. Okay I’m gonna go and calm down. 😅

It certainly looked far more civilised than when we disembarked in August. Being in the YC and having the butler show us off did help but even so it was like a rugby scrum, loads of children and almost everyone had their luggage with them making matters even worse. Loved your series 👍😘

Absolutely loved the MSC vlogs Jamie, it's good to see the difference between the standard class and the better grade for a first time cruiser. I think personally the Yacht club would have to be on my bucket list to experience once. I would definitely love to experience this ship as I Absolutely love the dome in the atrium and the sparkly staircase, and obviously as you know me by now the onboard shops. I have recently been looking at cruises for my first one but as a solo passenger the price seems so expensive compared to if I was to travel with Daniel. Like you and Maffoo Daniel works in the civil service so there would be times I would be going solo as Daniel wouldn't always be able to get the time off.

Solo can be a lot, yes. I still think P&O have some good deals for Solos but no Yacht Club!

Sounds like a great cruise. MSC has the worst disembarkation process for "standard" cabin passengers. Total chaos. Note about bidding for those who haven't done it....DO NOT buy a drink package if you plan to bid. Drinks are INCLUDED in yacht club, but if you have prepaid for a drink package, no refund! Something to keep in mind. I'd love to see you talk about the various MSC booking "EXPERIENCES" - Bella, Aurea etc.

Yet the disembarkation for all passengers on this one was very quick and organised. You are correct, don’t book a drinks package too early If considering bidding / upgrading

You don’t, unfortunately. Bis what you think is fair / can afford. I bid the lowest amount and was lucky!

Hi Jamie love your blogs on here I was wondering is this right if your cruise Misses a port and you have evidence from the cruise ship of this can you claim compensation from your travel insurance

Yes you can, as long as your insurance covers missed ports
