In any live performance, Artists are notorious for inserting different keys from the album version. Classic examples of this: Led Zeppelin, Heart, Stevie Nicks, U2, the list goes on and on; the fact is this is a beast recording, and the video is Krystal Clear; and Linda Perry is very easy on the eyes; so please, everyone stop finding fault with my girl's performance. Linda Perry is peerless, in songwriting, performing, improvisation, Life Coach, this is about the most worldly chick you would ever want to meet. Love you Linda Perry.

@@PearlsAndFloral31 wow, ur right, we made so much progress , looking back, ask u , whats going on in 2020, we have lost our goal, humanity needs to work as one, look at the deaths, they say look at our actions? I see we need to work a lot harder, if this was more deadly, where is our defense>3_? we could have done so much better, no one to Blame, not even The President, as we have become complacant

Props for how hard this song is to sing and taxing. Imagine this being the song you are famous for and having to perform it everywhere and the expectation that it is perfect. Vocal chords be screaming after a while.

As someone whomst is in a band i dont apreciate you generalizing us, this is my favorite song, and was the first song we learnt to play, I know some of us are like you say, just dont generalize us all, because in my humble opinion, I do think me and the band are innovative creative and positively expressive

@FREAKY Who knew writing something over a year ago would trigger all you young peeps. And yeah, it is innovative and creative. Not my fault if you fail to see something for what it is and reply like a typical victim instead of proving me wrong.

I love this song :D Twenty-five years and my life is still Trying to get up that great big hill of hope For a destination I realized quickly when I knew I should That the world was made up of this brotherhood of man For whatever that means And so I cry sometimes When I'm lying in bed just to get it all out What's in my head And I, I am feeling a little peculiar And so I wake in the morning And I step outside And I take a deep breath and I get real high And I scream from the top of my lungs What's going on? And I say, hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah I said hey, what's going on? And I say, hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah I said hey, what's going on? Oh, oh oh Oh, oh oh And I try, oh my god do I try I try all the time, in this institution And I pray, oh my god do I pray I pray every single day For a revolution And so I cry sometimes When I'm lying bed Just to get it all out What's in my head And I, I am feeling a little peculiar And so I wake in the morning And I step outside And I take a deep breath and I get real high And I scream from the top of my lungs What's going on? And I say, hey hey hey hey I said hey, what's going on? And I say, hey hey hey hey I said hey, what's going on? And I say, hey hey hey hey I said hey, what's going on? 4 non blondes and of course Linda (: without her there is no group (: it was sad that the industry wanted too disband the group at its early stage and just keep her (: then change her into something she wasn't (: and even when Linda left and she had her own record company or label she still couldn't get the group together (: they were all at different points in there lives (: and just never got back together which too me was very sad (: this was a great group with a lot of potiential and cut off at its enfancy (: just so sad (: Linda was too me the first real female vocalist too completely display an oray of emotions through her facial expressions or facial gestures (: no other female vocalist or male for that matter has ever done that (: and with all that had a powerful voice too match (: an amazing singer and women (: a very beautiful soul (: I just wish that could heard more from this band (: I know now linda is still producing songs for other artist (: but I would love too see her in s reunion tour of some sort (: one day perhaps if were lucky (:

Esad Punk I have heard and seen at least in video Janice Joplin (: Yes a very emotional and powerful vocalist but she never since I've seen her display like I said an erray of emotions all of them showing in her face and in her eyes (: Janice most of the time had her eyes closed and was always displaying through her body one emotion at a time (: But Linda was displaying several emotions at once and not only through her body but most definitely through her face (: If you don't believe me check out on KZbin the show she did with four non blondes for David letterman and focus on her face and eyes and you will see it (: Oh and iam not saying that Linda is better than Janice that's impossible (: Simply saying that Linda displays in her past performances through her face a lot of different emotions all at once and at least too me I have never seen another female vocalist do it ever since her or even before (: just my opinion I could be wrong (:
