At 3:40 on ball screen, 4 goes baseline, 3 doing a backdoor cut if defender loses contact on him seems like a good cut

That isn’t a bad idea. Only thing is to be careful not to clog the lane. If 1 sets that ball screen and then rolls to the basket, you wouldn’t want 3 cutting through the lane as well.

Can this play be ran against zone or just man

On ball screens typically don’t fare as well against zones because zones are already prepared to switch whenever the player enters their “zone.” They work great against man because even if they are well defended, you can cause switches, which will create mismatches. So, while on ball screens do have their place against zones, they don’t do as well as they do against man.
