4 pawl to 6 pawl freehub body upgrade 2021 Fezzari Abajo Peak

Thank you for the info Oliver. I really do appreciate it. I have the 2020 model and i have been wanting to upgrade my freehub body for some time now. Bike is still running good, but just like what a 6 pawl engagement can do. This will help avoid dead zones that you get with the 4 pawl.

Hi Rodel. I do not believe the 370 is easily upgradable. At least I don’t believe it would be cost effective. I know the easier path would be to upgrade the 350 which uses a star ratchet system.

Where did you get the freehub?!? I broke several of the pawls on my La Sal Peak with the bear pawl hubs and thought I was SOL given what the bear pawl website looked like, but if I can revive that wheel it will save me lots of money...

If you have a Fezzari with the Bear Pawls hubs you can upgrade from the 3-pawl to 6-pawls, so yes you can do that. I did this to my Bear Pawls hub.

Hello Ker. I did notice a difference on a climb. Enough to make the change worth it. Recently I added an oval chain ring which has made the perfect combo. I only know of this being the only compatible upgrade. Ride Safe!
