Pleàse explain in machine how to measure defect length in fabric

Fabric passing through the inspection frame must be between 45 - 60 degree angles to inspector and must be done on appropriate Cool White light above viewing area. Back light can be used as and when needed. Fabric speed on inspection machine must not be more than 15 yards per minute. Mark any defects to the side with colored tape so that they can be easily found and noted.

4-point system, fabric quality is evaluated by unit points per 100 square yards. You can convert meter to yard x 1.093
