Good morning from Hong Kong, Miss Laura. It sounds lovely to know about the pros on living in Belgium. Being close to nature can make ourselves peaceful with a quiet living environment, welcoming a variety of cultures from around the world, so that locals can learn from it. Moreover, this is special that the climate of the country is comfortable, not too hot not cold. And locals can afford anything in low cost.

Good morning Jerome! Thank you so much for watching ! I have to make a little side note though that the cost of living is very high in Belgium but for some reason the fruits and vegetables are reasonably priced :D

Great video - unfortunately in my experience none of these things apply to living in Bruges (I was working for the EU there some times ago) - cold, no trees, unfriendly and very costly 😔😬😵

Oh yes! Bruges would be a very different experience :) I live in Limburg, a very green province and one of the cheaper ones :D

Great video! I am thinking of taking an Erasmus program to Belgium. A question, if I don't speak French or Holland, is there any problem for me living and studying there speaking English? Thanks!

I think you'll be fine using mostly English, but sometimes you might need some help with government procedures :D

Do you follow your national football team? How well do you think that they will fare in the upcoming World cup. Its surprising yr country produces such high quality players from a relatively small population base

Or how well do you think Japan will do at the World cup? - which team are you cheering for?

Oh that's a good question! I actually don't know though... I don't have reception of Belgian tv channels here in Japan so I can't really keep up with it and to be honest I've never been interested in soccer haha :D But it's the most popular sport in Belgium and so many kids learn it from a young age so that might contribute to a high percentage of quality players
