Hi there, thanks for this video! The efenz looks beautiful. We're trying to decide between a 52" and 60" for our living room (there is adequate clearance for the 60" as we are not putting our lights/AC nearby). Would you recommend going for the 60"? Were you able to try out the fan at any shops before buying? Or just cross fingers and hope for the best? Thanks!

Hey Jayashri, our 52" has been serving us well. The size is pretty dependable on your living area space, 52" is sufficient for our 4-room living room area, wind strength is good even at low speeds. We tried it at the shop before purchasing 👍

@@onebigegg1314 Hey, wanted to give you and any other readers an update on this. Went down to the Efenz showroom. 52" is actually more powerful than 60" at the highest speed since the max RPM is higher due to the lighter blades. 46" has an ever higher RPM than 52", but because of the smaller blade size it moves less air. Hence the fan performance peaks at 52". We might go with that for both living room (4R) and MBR.

Hey Jayashri! Thanks for the additional information! 👍🏼 On hindsight I guess we're pretty lucky that we chose 52"! I'll pin your comment up for everyone's reference, cheers! 🙌🏼

@@onebigegg1314 Hi there! We're making our final purchase of fans, and I'd just like to check that you're still happy with your Efenz 52"? :D

For people that live in the BTO two rooms, a ceiling fan + light is a must. As the flat now comes with a smoke detector right in the middle the only way to have a ceiling fan is install one that comes with light.
@JJ-dx7hy2 жыл бұрын
Hihi 1. How's the light at night if just ceiling fan itself? 2. Did you do false ceiling at your living room? Saw you have 2 other lights there 3. Is that smoke detector on your ceiling?
@onebigegg13142 жыл бұрын
Hey JJ! 1. The light from our living room's ceiling fan is bright enough for casual daily activities like watching TV, etc. If it's for reading/work, I'll need to switch on the other lights. For the rest of the ceiling fans in our room, it is currently our main source of light 👍 2. Nope we did not do any false ceiling. Yes, those are just normal surface downlights. 3. Yep it is!

Hi, is your living room fan 52"? noticed that it's near the 2 other down lights, does it cast a shadow? how far of a distance between the lights and the fan blades? and where did you get those downlights? looks nice! thanks
@onebigegg13142 жыл бұрын
Hey RL, yes it's a 52" one. The fan blade tip is approximately 1 meter away from the 2 other down lights so it doesn't cast a shadow when it's on. Thank you! :)

Hi, may I know how is the wind flow and strength of the Effenz? Is it noisy at the higher speeds?
@onebigegg13142 жыл бұрын
Hey Hafiz, these were also our considering factors when we were deciding which brand to go for. Our 523 model is able to generate a good amount of wind-flow in our BTO 4-room living room. I think it is one of the quieter and quality brand at the highest speed. A good investment thus far! 😊 If you’re looking for exact numbers and specifications, you may visit their website at: www.efenz.com.sg/Products/Ceiling-Fan/Isaac-523-LED-Isaac-523/C8/page/0

Hi! I have heard that the ceiling fan with bigger dimension of dimmed light may cause some light strobe effect on ceiling during night. I was wondering how does the Efenz works at night since the dimmed light is very slim. TIA ;)

Hey Lee Ching, so far I didn't encounter any light strobing when it's dimmed 🤞

Nice! I also went for EFenz for my living room. Does AeroAir retain your light and fan configuration after you switch off and on again?
@onebigegg13142 жыл бұрын
Thanks YS! Steady la fellow Efenz user! 🙌🏼 For AeroAir, yes our 46” model does retain both light and fan configuration after switching off/on. The 42” model light would change to another light tone but the fan configuration do retain. But we try our best to off the lights/fan before turning off the switch in attempt to prolong its motor’s lifespan 😄

Hmm,when I got my ceiling fans in 2014,I forgot to get ones with the lights😔.But have recessed lights,so no issues😅. Might consider the ones with lights in future if doing reno😇.& it does save on spaces considering the small sizes of BTOs..

Hello EG! The Efenz 52" costed abt $600, the aeroair 42" and 46" were $300 and $350 respectively. Do note the prices includes installation and were 2021's, prices might be inflated now 🤞🏻 Hope it helps! 😊

Question. How do you add lighting to a room with a ceiling fan ? The ceiling fan light is not bright enough. Thanks.

I heard it is hard and costly to replace the LED light when spoilt as u need to purchase from the branding itself. Is that true?

Yes you are right, unfortunately that the trade off for ceiling fans with lights unless you get third party led light and either zng yourself or find handyman to do it for you 😄

l think you will encounter ceiling shadow only if the light is above the fan. But not the other way round.

It's still possible to have ceiling shadows even if light is below the fan. Check out the shadows appearing at 4:50.
