I started 2021 as basically a rookie. I finished the year closing on 14 properties really only listening to podcasts. I struggle to understand how people can go years listening to podcasts and not do a single deal. 🤷🏾‍♂️

How exactly did you fund your 14 properties you have or is it a syndication? Big talk in the comment section. for many people it takes years to build credit and save the money to purchase investment properties

@@Ghost-yf2fh you need to hustle! Hard money for 5 properties, short term local bank loans on 3 that I'm currently refinancing out of and commercial loans (5/1 arms with 20 yr Amortization) on the remaining properties.

Malia is correct about the mindset of most young folks regarding investing. Most older folks also fall into the same YOLO mindset too. Around 90% of colleagues I've spoken don't want to invest their remaining paycheck after expenses. They'd rather spend it on things they don't really need, or just stick it in their bank account. Their reason was usually the same: "investing is too risky".
