A Key West recommendation is "Blue Heaven". "Lobster “BLT” Benny" is killer for breakfast, and their Key Lime Pie is beautiful and "real" Key Lime Pie.

I’m from Illinois. The sticks. Going to the keys soon. My fish here is literally shrimp and Alaska cod and catfish which catfish is dirty tasting and extra fishy imo . How does grouper and other key fish differ as far as texture and fishy taste

Grouper is really meaty and not too fishy in my opinion. Try a fried hogfish sandwich too if you’re in the Keys - it’s a local favorite and a unique thing to eat when you’re visiting. Have an awesome trip! 😄

It’s not too bad of a drive from Miami, not as crowded/touristy as Key West, but still very much feels like a true island getaway. I talk about it more in my Islamorada vs Key West video. Thanks for checking out my channel!
