Billy, I just wanted to say thank you for all the tutorials you are sharing. I love your pacing! Quick, efficient, no excessive handholding. You get the information across that needs to transmitted and that's it. I love it! Thank you brother I also wanted to ask if you could make a tutorial on animating a subscribe push, in Fusion? I'm currently using a greenscreen animation I found online, but would love to upgrade to a sick custom animation ;)

Billy, great videos. Would love to see a DR17 tutorial on building Video Grids and transitioning between from one video cell of the grid to another. Thx
@lazysod33 жыл бұрын
Hey idk if you ever got this info but I think you’re looking for the Collage effect in the effects library. You drop it onto each clip you want to be in the grid and then in the Inspector for each clip, under the Collage options, you can change how many rows/columns you want and which row/column you want each clip to be in the grid. You can even adjust the number of grid spots a clip occupies if you want any clips larger than others. Hope this makes sense. Search tutorials for the Resolve Collage effect. Good luck!

Billy Rybka I have bought so many preset packs for premiere, it was making the switch tough but I'm realizing switching to resolve will just push me to be a better editor by not relying on tools like that. Keep up the good work man I really think you're encouraging a new wave of editors to have the confidence to switch!

Love the whip pan! Something you didn't mention: it's very important that the camera "whips" in the same direction for each shot. For yours, it whips left to right in both. The transition would not look nearly as seamless if one shot whipped right to left. Kind of like the match move transition. Great tutorial Billy :)
@BillyRybka4 жыл бұрын

in the second transtion , is it ok that if we add a whole new pillar in the clip or something ? like for eg : if we don't have smthing to get in front of the main subject , then we can instead add a object from another footage for the both clips . Is that possible ?
@BillyRybka4 жыл бұрын
It is possible to composite an object in there, you need to make sure to match the lighting so it looks natural. You could also just have a person stand there and you move past them. IT can really be anything blocking the frame
