Don't discourage people from taking their pets to see vets. 😢 This could cause people to make assumptions about their animals that are dangerous. The animals could get seriously hurt before anyone realizes they made a mistake! What does continue to surprise me is how many naive people are out there willing to get sucked in by people online who claim to know better than the professionals. Or who try to make you distrust the professionals because they are 'just after your money'. This is not just naive but potentially dangerous. I know that videos like this one can and do cause actual harm and possibly death to innocent animals. This makes me angry. It happens to people too, probably more than to animals because there are more videos etc. out there about human health issues and so-called cures that are 'better for you' than what the medical profession can provide. My younger sister fell prey to this nefarious section of humankind when she had cancer. It always starts innocently like this. Offering home remedies that cost much less than professional services. Once you're down that rabbit hole it's easier to take the next steps into 'alternative medicine' which is a fancy name for bullshit. Bullshit that ends up costing a great deal of money AND is detrimental to one's health, sometimes terminally so.

This is absolutely disgusting. Im a retired vet tech, and yeah, some - SOME vets will not give you help with home remedies, but not all. I specialized in feline behavior and nutrition, and while some of these work, if your cat is urinating often, straining to urinate or outside of the box, GO. TO. THE. VET. It could be so many things, and none are any you want to home remedy and wait for. Renal disease can strike with a quickness that will not give the cornstarch whatever time to do, anything that will end up saving your cat's life. It could be a UTI, which is treatable, but still dangerous to ANY furry friend you have. I cannot stress this enough, that if urination issues arise, go to the vet asap. Also, citrus isn't good for cats. I mean, yeah, you'll probably get the worms out, but...that's gonna cost you in vet bills later for damage. Olfactory senses, indigestion, and if used too much, can...remove your cat, too. There's cheaper and more effective ways to treat things from home, but, citrus can be pretty bad, and if urination issues arise, if you have any love for your pets at all, go to the vet. Not all of us want to "take your money", we just want to ensure you have a furry friend that's happy and healthy for a long, long time. You can ask for home remedies for some things, and you can call TNR shelters as well for at home advice. It's a lot like your own health. You can treat some of it at home, but know when to see a professional. Now excuse me, idk about anyone else, but im reporting this channel for a gross amount of misinformation.

Let's not forget about kennel cough aka upper respiratory infection.... That can be cured easily with fenugreek and thyme crushed into powder and directly inserted into the mouth like you are giving your pet a pill... And you only need to give them a pinch of the powdered fenugreek and thyme mix 3 times a day every day for about a week. I had a Dog that had kennel cough and that is what I did... It works
