4 Spool Monoblock Valve Assembly Teardown

My name is JuanCarlos Pena and I am a student at Jones Technical Institute (J-Tech) in Jacksonville, FL. In today's video, we will be taking apart a valve assembly and inspecting the components.

is there o rings in this thing ? I think there is . how do you replace a bad o ring inside this thing ???

If the valve block was seperate sections, o-rings would be on one side of each section, being this is a mono-block, no sections, there would be no o-ring. Seals would be for spool ends only at this point I believe.

Ro I need help I have a 1998 scat trak mini exc. on the spool valve the spring broke and can’t find a new replacement

Gotta Question Juan, I have a six bank. And 2 center valves are missing springs. on a tow truck. And 3 center need caps... The caps look easy to install. But can I buy and put the springs on these Valves without removing them from the body? This is where I am. Room to get to them is tough. I was quoted $1,100 plus parts to fix.. Is that high? They don't even know but I need hoses too really. lol. Been sitting 12 yrs see. And my cousin put this bed on my F-350. We had a chance to remove this Valve body with no problem, but he installed the bed and now it's very tight to get to it. Right below boom. See why I'm asking. To take it off, I will pay someone. But if I can do it while it's still together then I will just do it myself and have the hoses repaired.. Talk to me.. lol Snowman
