You, Rachta, whityy, vombus, fronkie and Grummbbles are the only players that show hunt the way it really is. not a lot weird crouchwalkers in the middle of the road or peter-panics running around too much, overall very few blatant new players or 3 stars. your enemies are bold and not completely incapable most of the time. In fact they actually land a few good shots and kills. Most enemies are around 4-5 stars and it shows with all the shoulder peeking and movement. I can't stand these hunt content creators that roam in 3-star lobbies and only gank clearly inexperienced and new players. So, thank you for showing how hunt really works.

One thing these 6 stars never do is guard the body so he gets like 10 chances to win
@glowinthedarkshark939611 ай бұрын
@@admiralbg9854 im considering that to only be in Recordings. Obviously he picks the games where it works out, thats just common sense in terms of content.

honestly i kind of hate the implementation of the rank system to be honest, ever since DeSalle dropped, no one goes for fun compound fights anymore and plays so passively because they value their rank too much to play like most of the people do in this video
@flydraulics55211 ай бұрын
@@archpenn7842There’s no way to win every game in Hunt. You must adapt per game, and most players don’t know how to do that. So they choose to sit in buildings, or wait for the most opportune time to make a play. Hunt playerbase has the most unconfident people playing a FPS.
@archpenn784211 ай бұрын
@@flydraulics552 thats how extraction shooter playerbase plays in general, the thing is there's not really much driving you in Hunt other than kills, games like tarkov, marauders, Dark and darker, they have an edge over hunt due to them not having a rank system, so people are driven to fights more naturally without fear of losing/raising an arbitrary number that dictates who you can fight against.

How'd you know someone was there at the start of the video? At first it looked like you were just checking an angle, but someone was actually there. I see this a lot in H:SD videos where people go into the video knowing where everyone is at and talking about where everyone while I can't see or hear anything half the time.

The very first engagement at the fishery with the nagant carbine deadeye? On the first guy he engaged with: The railing there is both where there is access to/from the downstairs and is one of the main doubledoors. It's a very common spot for people to shoot from or to emerge to. But you can also see that the window that the second person eventually shoots at him from is blocked partly at this angle (0:07) and the shutters are closed. Since the shutters are closed and there is poor sightlines to elsewhere in compound, the only spot that someone could try to shoot at him from is that railing. On the second person (0:25), the railing is now visually obscured by foliage (0:22). Since there is someone who can still see him well enough to shoot at him, he looks around for where. The railing is clear because no one can shoot him clearly from the railing, but now the shutters are open, and someone is in the window. This is the only spot that was available to engage with his cover. Then the next kill he gets through the window, again, he does it from a spot where that window is the only lane of engagement. That person's teammate was downed, so they'll likely to be running that way, and you can also hear them running around. As to how he knew someone was in the fishery, you can hear them sprinting around on wood. You may need to get a better headset because, if you're being quiet yourself, you can hear people sprinting 75m+ out - it's really not too hard depending on the surface. So he was watching a sightline: the only sightline that someone could shoot at him in whatever moment. Why someone appeared there is because there is no other sightline for people seeking violence to appear to him at without opening a shutter or dramatic repositioning. It's less to do about knowing where everyone is at and more to do about narrowing down lanes of engagement. They can only engage with him from the railing? Watch the railing. They can only engage with him from the window? Watch the window. Additionally, watch where people are likely to appear. That railing is the convergence of three different pathways through that part of the compound and is, likewise, one of the few places to engage that stretch of forest while still being able to get into cover at a moment's notice. There will frequently be someone to shoot there. Since it's such an important position, if it's the main position that someone can engage with you, watch it, and someone will eventually appear there.
@Yawyna12410 ай бұрын
You can see how he acts in inverse when *he* is the one at that railing: 1:35, at the very start, he looks at deep in the ruins, which is the only lane of engagement while he is back in the nook towards the stairs. Then he checks the wide open dock to the north of him and, finding it also clear, he finally moves to the railing. At about 1:38 you can hear someone start walking for a moment and, since there is noone in the ruins and the sound is coming from that direction, they must be in the clearing between him on the balcony and the ruins. He has cleared all other lanes of engagement to his knowledge so he advances and engages the person in the clearing.
