It seems like you unlock the 4* shop once you open a 4* crystal.

after you obtain at least one of any tier bot, you unlock the corresponding tier of bot store (might require a force close and restart of the app). The reason it seems to unlock from story progression is because the fastest way to obtain a two and three star bot is from story rewards.

As you saw the mastery cores are now working. But unlocking masteries will only work with cores purchased from today; cores purchased before won’t work so unfortunately any cores you purchased previously will be wasted energon. I had spoken to Netflix about the cores a few days ago, it would be nice if my support ticket helped in this case but there’s no way to know for sure. Kabam is no longer doing support and we have no communication from Netflix, so any time a bug gets fixed we’re just gonna have to figure it out on our own. We really need a line of communication with Netflix as these bugs and glitches will only keep adding up, but I don’t know if that’s gonna happen any time soon.

Is it normal to not be able to purchase crystals is that like just part of the game that you can’t purchase crystals with energon and if you can what level do you need to be?

On the topic of masteries, Blueforest has pointed out that mastery cores are working, but not to buy them beforehand; *BUY THEM WHEN NEEDED. DO NOT PRE-BUY.*

I got ultra Magnus as my first 4* which really couldn’t of been worse. I am able to buy a 4* with chips but I want to see who’ll be unlocked with the release of act 2 chapter 2 first.

How did you get the first 4 star crystal? Was it a reward for alliance mission? There doesn’t seem to be any other way except to clear act 2, but that’s time gated.

I pulled a 4 Star Bludgeon… wasn’t super pleased about that but I guess I can throw him on base defense. I did the exact same thing with the mastery cores, I have two Tier 1 Cores just sitting in my inventory now that I can’t do anything with

My first 4 star was Sideswipe. I got him in the middle of ACT 1. So yeah I got 4 stars first before 3 star bots.
