I stayed in the Helios hotel last week. Six nights, unbelievable value for money. Best hotel that i have ever stayed in, could not fault it, The accommodation, food, pool, gym, service, staff, and facilities. Plenty of Scandinavians and Germans staying there,(they tend to stay within the confines of the hotel) ,and a few Brits, just brilliant. If you want the night /day life, market, promenade all within a short walk. Well done to whoever made this video.

Yes the Helios is a nice hotel I think it's the sister hotel to the Venus and The Orange hotel take care

I think the wall paper is a reflection of the river at the bottom and the buildings on top are the actual building.

Best features of this hotel: 1. Very central with Starbucks opposite and lots of restaurants around it. 2. Clean and well maintained. 3. Large balcony with two tables. 4. A couple of minutes from the beach. 5. Comfortable bed. 6. Taxi stand just outside. 7. A lot of fast lifts. Downsides: 1. Room a bit small. 2. Breakfast was average. Overall, I would stay again. If you want a very central, functional hotel go for it.

Stayed there years ago.A Tour Operator used to be very particular about the food for its clients and how it was presented for health and safety!

£59!!! that's an absolute bargain for half board and a really early check in!!! Food looked pretty good as well and what a view!!!

The buildings are probably relections in water. As stated by others. However when in bed head on the pillows the buildings will be the right way up. Someone has had a funky creative moment I feel. Love the room ❤😊😊😊

Lovely hotel. You mentioned bacon being fatty. In Servigroup hotels there’s a choice of streaky or back bacon. I always have back and it’s so tasty too 😊

Hi, was a lovely modern hotel and it looked disabled friendly too. I would be satisfied with the room, in the bathroom it is all one level which is so much easier for me. I have had disabled rooms, and they have had a step into the shower of about 4,inches which is no good fo me.The wallpaper is definitely upside down! 15th floor has a lovely view. Cannot believe the price of this 4 star hotel such a good price. Thanks for the video.

Can we have a video on how you book your trips/ holidays? Airline flights seperate I'm presuming? Hotel room - book direc with hotel or via Booking etc; transfers? Hi it's impossible to do a video like that I have stated in previous videos the layout of a trip searching for an airline hotels are book through comparison sites and transfer vary due to location at arrival airport it's not a simple process it do explain how I try to use the countries public transport and I just look for the hotel I want then search on as many of the comparison site for the cheapest option hope this helps

Beautiful intro and camera shots. Good of them to check you in. Wowsers! That view was incredible interesting with the cityscape blending with the ocean and landscape 🌞 I have a theory about that wallpaper if they'd hung it the right way up it would've been obscured by the bed and headboard 😂 I remember you walking under those circle lights in the live. Great series - just found your channel. We stayed at the 4 star RH Corona Del Mar over New Year, the 4 star Melia last year and have booked the Barcelo for New Year this year. We were in this hotel and thought it was great but couldn’t book it on a package and the flights were too expensive. Looking forward to the next instalment 👍👍

The Corona Del Mar was a lovely hotel. Where are you staying next? Just a suggestion, could you mention the cost of drinks in each hotel - coffee, cola, beer, glass of wine etc.

Great video Paul, thanks for sharing it with us. What a great hotel and how it has changed. I stayed there in the 80's and it was nowhere near as plush. Everything looks spectacular and I can't believe the price. Amazing value for money for a hotel in such a perfect location.

Looks a lovely hotel. I love having a high room with a view. Currently staying overnight at the Premier Inn at Manchester Airport. We have a high floor overlooking the airport. Flying out to Sharm el Sheikh in the morning. 😎✈️

Looks a love hotel , and like you rightly said the view is absolutely stunning. The flashing/ flickering lights in the reception area would do my head in especially if anyone have sensory issues or have epilepsy. Also the upsidedown wall paper in the bedroom would drive me nuts too. Both pools look rather small, but that might be just the angle of the video taken though . But for the price , location and view its looks ideal . Ive noticed in all your videos you dont mention if any of the rooms have air conditioning. Maybe you could mention this in your videos in the future as when staying in the summer months this is a necessity as it gets soo hot over there . 😁

It's the camera that flickers in certain lighting mostly indoor especially restaurants where they use heat lamps so the hotel lights don't flicker take care

Perhaps the room was empty as nobody had been booked in for a day or two previously, so they could ket you have it straightaway. Nice looking room and view. Calpe down the coast is a good place to visit, more of a Spanish vibe.

Hi Paul your room was very nice and with all the necessary items, and quite spacious. I thought down in the lounge and dining areas were fantastic. Very spacious. The food was prepared and presented tastefully. The views were magnificent. The cost i think for one night was very good. Well worth staying at.

I'm thinking you have done really well again how much longer can you keep it up. I know Benidorm used to get a lot of folks going there in the winter from Scandinavia because it's cheaper for them to stay there as opposed staying at home and there pensions are much higher so they could probably stay permantely drunk and still have money left over

Hi paul ,great find again and wow what stunning views .when you mentioned about bed bugs and said the eggs are black they are actually white and very hard 2 see they leave little black stains on sheets and sometimes redish browny smears so just be carefull u dont want 2 be bringing nothing back lol 😂

Was there in 2014, its ok, but stay near the sea in Old town, I do not remember a balcony do all rooms have them. I found better prices near the beach.
