In the fourth part, we cover the exciting yet challenging process of building your own house. Especially the exterior installation phase is one of the steps that requires both attention and care. In the video, we follow the complete coating process of the exterior of our first prototype house step by step. The moisture barrier plays a critical role in preventing the rotting and mold formation of wooden structures. Moisture management is even more important in tiny house projects, so the barrier needs to be applied correctly. Painted galvanized sheets used for roof panels accelerate this process with their lightweight structure and ease of installation. At the same time, materials that are fire-resistant and resistant to environmental effects were selected.
The cross timbers mounted on the moisture barrier were arranged to provide extra insulation in the summer months. An aesthetic appearance was achieved by using aluminum sheets for the stylish finish of the exterior. The finalization of Termowood wood veneers by sanding and varnishing is shown step by step in the video. This section, where we complete the exterior in its final state before the joinery installation, contains important information about what you should pay attention to during the house building process.
