I’ve tried investing in various things that didn't work out as I hoped. I'm now considering ETFs as a more reliable option. What are the best 5 ETFs for a rookie investor looking to invest a lump sum? let's say $500,000
@CabreraGonzalezMayra3 сағат бұрын
JEPQ is my favorite so far. It pays monthly with over a 9% yield and also has stayed fairly level. The down side is that it was incepted in 2022 which means there is not a lot of history. I also like FEPI and SPYT.
@DuderStad3 сағат бұрын
An ETF with more risk and payout is QDTE. It pays weekly but is higher risk because it just came out this year. The fund is based on covered calls which make money in any market, up or down.

The issue is people have the "I will do it myself mentality" but not equipped for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since covid-outbreak to date, summing up nearly $1m.

I don't get it. The mag 7 comprise 30% of the S & P. So they are actually very responsible for the overvaluation we see in the market (their average PE is around 35X probably). And you always assign a PE of a minimum 20 and mostly 23 to these companies. Yet, you guys say that the market is overvalued 100%. I don't think this is how things work given that the market average PE is around 29 right now, indicating, in fact that the rest of the market is not that overvalued. Please put out the information a bit more in-depth. The average person who may not know these things could end up being scared out of the market losing fortunes in the process.

GOOG is not particularly worth it at these levels. A megacap like this can only return so much. It will mot be a 10+ bagger any time soon. Many other stocks offer far more potential.
@shanegreen147717 сағат бұрын
I'm buying GOOGL. Q2 revenue from their search engine buisness alone was a 14% increase year over year. That's not even were future growth is projected, that future growth is expected from their cloud service. The megacap company is still growing like gangbusters.
