What you are saying is relatable. I am a Filipino indiefilmworker. I did content research for Film and TV before the pandemic and I am seriously working on crossing over Copywriting milieu that I had always been curious of and set to live and love at 63 and on. I can do this, learning skills and acquiring attitude workable from your videos. Thanks, you are generous.

I open my eyes at the sound of music. I wake up to my alarm playing the local radio station every morning. This is the first time i don't shut it off right away; its playing my song. what a pleasant surprise. My music is filled with good vibes. I hope other people are waking up to my song and smile as well. after all, that's the reason why i made music in the first place; to spread happiness.

We Hindus have Ramayana, much earlier to all of the other stores somewhere close to 7100 years ago. For us He is "Lord Ram" or the Protagonist. So this form of storytelling, "The Hero's Journey" is quite old for us, Indians.

O.M.G! This video is the bomb!!! I'm an email copywriter with undying love for the world of copywriting and so ventured recently into sales copy writing. I wrote a sales letter last week for a campaign set to launch next month (I know, I'm an obsessive planner) and just discovered I used the B.A.B method. Story telling comes so easy for me and till now it's been via intuition for me. But I've recently become concerned about a writing structure I could merge with my intuition. This video was my answer. Thank you for sharing Alexa. New fan🙌🙌😍😍

This was so helpful! I just purchased a salon in Fort Collins, Colorado, and it is HEMORRHAGING money! Covid19 is tearing through the salon, and if we can’t get our staff busy, and if the state shut us down, we will bankrupt. The salon had been in business for 16 years, and over that time has seen a tremendous number of people. We have all of the email addresses of those clients since the salon went into business 16 years ago. Now it is time to invite them into our story, to help them not only look good, but to feel good! And when you feel good, you do damn good things! So the fuel to keep me going

Alrightyyyy! So I got a lot to say. Mostly of what I learned and evaluated from the video.(Note - I'll try to break it down, as I rewatch the video) 1) As much as I am embarrassed, I didn't got the riddle(ig I need to work on that) 2) 2:45 yup, I'm part of posse 3) *Technique #1* Alright, this seems good.(added to swipe files) 4) 5:22 WoW! This was knowledgeable 5) *Future Pacing* O.K. so here it is. It might not be best, but I wrote this from the top of my head. (Do bear with me) "The sun is already up-shining. I've just waked up. It's Monday 11:37, almost noon. Next to me is sleeping the girl of my love and dream, Suz. My eyes, barely awake after the full night party-2 of us had.(We slept at 4 am) Who she is? She is someone I met online 3 and half years ago. We came to know each other and eventually fell in love. Although, there is a major twist to this love story-that didn't allowed us to even see each other for nothing less than 36 months. But more on that later. She and I have finally achieved our dream of financial and freedom today. But even more important, we have won the right to love and stay with each other. We won "us" today. The dream we had seen together 3 years ago is turned into a reality, with nothing but our own dedication to credit. As I see through the window. A valley of mountains unfolds. A sight certainy to behold. It truly is a glorious day. A day, that denotes our victory." 6) 7:16 *Nothing is more interesting than trouble* Haha this reminds of the line. "As the troubles have a tendency, not to disappoint" fr a certain popular book 8) Talk about troubles. So I take it, raise the possible objections that readers might have in mind either at the very start of copy or build an *environment* when you reach the objective (trouble) 9) *Before After Bridge* O.K. I got the fundamental down. You describe a current problematic situation(of audience). Then you describe the resolved ideal scenario. And bridge the 2 with your product/service. So yeah. Cool video, Alex. As you can see(Hopefully) I learned a lot. And I'd really appreciate if you reply at least something to this. It took me a lot of time to write this (28 minutes :p) Sincerely Jatin

Good morning Alex. Thank you so much for this video. I learned a lot and realized I love story telling. So instead of saying I am at my desk working from home, as a copy writer or course; I will say as I was sitting in my office working from home on a Saturday afternoon, I had soft music playing in the background and a delicious cup of tea. I'm feeling the warm rays of sun coming through the branches of my favorite tree right outside the window. I feel a pair of soft lips on the back of my neck as my husband sneaks in to steal a kiss and it breaks my daydream. Now I'm back to work !!!

Hello Alex, It's Justyna. I've been following you for a while now. I am so into freelance copywriting but had not had a chance to work for a client yet. I mean, I've applied for many jobs on the job board on FB and on indeed and I also did many cold pitching. None of them landed me a client, which is sad 😩 I have used my storytelling talent (everyone has it, right, you said it!) I told them my real-life stories (a sad one). I wanted to be unique and real and not use a standard cover letter or email. But it didn't work! They were looking for one thing- work experience- And I have NONE! But what's not fair is that they didn't give me a chance to share my knowledge in the interview. I have done many copywriter courses online and I have been told before I purchased the courses, that I don't need work experience to be a copywriter (nice catch huh- I'm so naive!). I know that I have all it takes to be a copywriter - knowledge, and a true passion for connecting with people (I'm a great communicator and also can listen), I get on well with people. Why don't I get the chance to have an interview? Besides, how am I supposed to get the experience when I don't get the chance to get a job as a copywriter?! Everyone has to start somewhere, right? You weren't born a copywriter... So simple but at the same time too complicated to others. A piece of advice would do nicely. Thank you and have a nice day xx
@AlexCattoni2 жыл бұрын
I hear you! The solution comes down to the type of clients you're going after. Seek out clients who don't mind hiring a new copywriting (usually company's on a tight budget or who can't afford an expert, etc.) Another option is to write a couple of pieces for free in exchange for a testimonial - just be careful that you don't over-offer and burn yourself out! Good luck :)

Future Pacing You wake up, you look around your boho-themed bedroom; everything is so in order. The alarm went off minutes ago, yet there is no sense of rush. Just calmness.
