Great video! The saying, "if he wanted to, he would" is not always true. I met a guy who took things slow, and took a while to admit his feelings. He was reserved and gentle with me. My loved ones told me that he wasn't interested, or that he was playing me. It turned out that he just wasn't good at communication, which he apologized for and is now trying to get better at. We're going on a date soon, and I'm so incredibly grateful for this "gentle" man.

Thank you for this message! You reminded me that my grandfather was gentle. He was a gentleman working in the HR department of a plant. And even though everyone knew he was married, the women were all over him! He fought them off gently for forty years at his job! That's just the way he was. He smoked, but also knitted. He liked to play the guitar at corporate picnics and gave a speech at gatherings, but he also cooked for the family and had a hobby of writing novellas with his wife Natalie as the main character. He published them, too! My mom didn't read them, but I got my interest in writing from him. He was the only gentleman I knew this well. God bless these gentle creatures!

To be honest as a single 28 yr old man I can truly say I possess these qualities and I recently ( 12 weeks ago ) gained a deeper understanding of the last point and I'm glad that I am being able to be humble and know where I'm at. That being said that doesn't mean as a man I can't keep maturing my character.

My mom and I were literally just talking about this topic. We were talking about the concept of positive masculinity. Just for context, I've always been a very voracious reader. There is a certain series of books that really resonates with my heart, and there are several male characters (one of whom I honestly don't like, but he's pivotal) who encapsulate the essence of "positive masculinity." There's one character in particular that is the epitome of this. There are only three prominent female characters, but the way that their story arcs enmesh with the guys throws into relief the fact that they embody positive masculinity. The women aren't damsels in distress, they are strong women who make their own choices and follow their hearts... the men respect their strength, but they also protect and fight for them in chivalry. The guys are strong enough to be vulnerable, to be kind, to have close bonds and be sensitive to people's feelings, but they also know how to fight and face battles bravely. Of course, I understand the difference between stories and our external world, but the guy who wrote this series was a devout Christian, and his characters reflect and embody Biblical ideals. That's why people derive comfort in reading... in stories, men know how to be brave, how to fight, how to be chivalrous, but they can be kind and loving. Women know how to be strong. There is hope in the ongoing strife between good and evil, and good guys win. Stories don't show us the ways things ARE... they represent the way things ought to be. We all long for something beyond the ordinary, beyond the status quo, don't we?

When women say they want a guy who expresses his feeling what they are truly saying is "I want you to express your positive feelings toward me" or in other words "I need a guy to reassuge me". Women don't care about how you feel, only about how they feel. So when they say they want a guy who express his feelings what they are saying is "I want to feel desired".

Mark, I desire a godly virgin wife because I too am a virgin. I keep getting told by others that “marriage is more lonely” or “it isn’t what you think” but all I have ever wanted to to feel loved by someone romantically. I’ve been told to basically just desire God and I try and will continue to seek Him. Is it wrong for Christians to want blessed lives and fulfilling marriages? I’m am confused truly and don’t know what to believe or hope for in this life. God bless.
@bakachocorobo-kun4728

Don't take advice from people whose marriages are failing or have failed. Negative comments about marriage are almost always linked to poor marriages and relationships. Sure, marriage is hard, but so are other relationships -romantic or otherwise. The point is that you and your spouse are learning and communicating each day to better show love to each other. There will be ups and downs, but overcoming conflicts and times of hardship make relationships stronger. God designed marriage to be good and it's not wrong to desire a healthy and loving marriage. ❤

@@bakachocorobo-kun4728 Thank you and I agree completely. It’s sometimes hard to find Christians not so spurned that all they know are the bitter aspects of life as the joy is drained from them. The problem is that I have no one in my life with a godly marriage that I can learn from. I’m in need of a godly wife as I burn with passion and need a wife to no longer fight it unwed. Please pray for me to find the one God has for me. May Father Yahweh always bless you and keep you in Yeshua’s Mighty Name!

@@joshthesmith77Why not try investigating Catholicism and what we truly believe is the essence of marriage and see if that appeals to you to find a woman there? If so then let God guide you into the Fullness of the Truth and Holy Spirit he gave us especially in the Sacrament of Matrimony which is commonly reduced to transactions without love making it known by everyone else as marriage.

@@mg137b I think it shows the woman cares more about my ability to provide for her than my godly character. My future spouse will be marked by a set of behavior polar opposite of the world. She will be more understanding but also communicate with me about her needs or when she's angry or sad or frustrated. It's good that these women judge me because it reveals who they are. Some women will look a gift horse in the mouth not knowing I'm sitting on million dollar software patents I'm waiting to finish. I don't want a woman who's going to treat me like a wallet. I'm sure those women will repent and trust in God and pop right back into my life if it's Gods will. Otherwise I'm sure I will the Lord Jesus Christ will provide another muscle mommy for me to marry. Some people are too prideful to hang with me. That's okay. I'm dust my boots off and leave them behind.

@@mg137b I don't really get insecure. I just haven't found a traditional christian woman I'm attracted to. I don't do modern women. The direction I'm going it's going to be a very special flower who wants to live off grid in a 10,000 ft² - 15,000 ft² house and focus on raising kids and gardening. My emotional attachment to the previous woman I loved is gone. She doesn't want me around and she is not a traditional woman so I expect to never hear from her again. God will decide that. I would love to date her friend Samantha. But shes taken. So. I'm in limbo again for a while.

@@mg137b and for the record I was willing to marry the woman I was into because I loved her whether she was going to be a stay at home mom or a working woman. Love naturally makes you give up the fight for hills and makes you find new ways to accomplish your goals. I never got that love reciprocated. I think that left me bitter and annoyed for a month and then I just cast it up to the Lord for the time being because I don't see any responsibility being placed on me by God except to watch my mouth and be receptive to women who realize they made a mistake. With the amount of people lying about me you'd never know I was a decent guy who works hard let alone a christian. The devil and his servants are hard at work.
