A great lesson on how to sound like everybody else. Remember, there's no room for individuality in the blues.
@swiftlessons Жыл бұрын
The path to developing a unique musical identity involves learning from past masters, and building a vocabulary of traditional phrases. It’s important to sound authentic in a variety of styles, because from there you can blend things in creative ways, and eventually develop your own voice. I think it’s great to learn licks like the ones featured here, if only to understand the mechanics and theory behind them, which can be repurposed.
