The spartans were almost as lucky as can be though! They literally only had to fight the pikeman for most of the battle...

Dunno that's their default stats, they rely on the splash dmg that they have, since the other units in this fight don't have.

Yeah so I can explain this I made them do a small amount of splash damage and a small amount of direct damage, just to shake things up for melee units. They gain strength in numbers. I think it makes things interesting, and I did balance it to fight against medieval units
