Lack of contribution from your strikes is likely caused by having too many attacking options and not enough supporting options. Besides, both AM(A) and AF(A) tend to run through the centre, taking up space from one another. You may want to include at least 1 role that either does not go as far up or roams from their position to create advantages by pulling defenders away. Finally, some more supporting options, either as strikers or cams can also prove beneficial

I'd agree if it wasn't for the fact that last season with the same system the strikers ran the show. Celik as a striker has been sensational, think its much more down to individual performances

I think against the so called smaller teams in the league Celik should be playing as striker so he will get more chances as he is most likely to finish them but I like the idea of dropping him to AM against the big boys to get more control of games in the middle

We all want to see the DLP changed for a regista, probably only when Andersen plays though. I use the same formation and similar player roles but changing the DLP to a regista with the dribble more instruction was a game changer for me. CBs with dribble more is also surprisingly effective at creating space.

ken ichikawa's ratings are flatlining because he's being asked to play the more generalised defensive midfielder role and is being assessed on more aspects of his play, like his passing and facilitating, which he isn't particularly good at, and he's far less likely to get the odd goal or assist to juice his match ratings. try playing him as a more specialised ball-winner for gains 👍

@Jack, 2 questions. I noticed Itagiba's personality changed from Model Citizen to Resolute. That's a huge downgrade in personality. When you signed him, he was Model Citizen, which is by far the best personality in game. Why do you think this happened? His determination didn't drop, which usually leads to change in personality. Also, in your player profile scene, there is no Media description? I don't know about you, but I usually see Media description a lot and do use it as one of my criteria for signing new players. Am I blind or it isn't there? Thanks.

Resolute is still a very positive personality but the change is probably down to a drop in sportsmanship which doesnt actually effect player development. Below are the thresholds for each and as you can see there's huge overlap. Resolute • Ambition = 5 - 20 • Determination = 15 - 17 • Pressure = 1 - 16 • Professionalism = 15 - 20 • Sportsmanship = 12 - 20 Model Citizen • Ambition = 12 - 20 • Determination = 14 - 20 • Loyalty = 15 - 20 • Pressure = 14 - 20 • Professionalism = 15 - 20 • Sportsmanship = 15 - 20 • Temperament = 15 - 20 Media description is very hit-and-miss in FM and can easily lead people astray. Ofcourse the wonderkid description can be useful for quickly filtering players who may have high PA but the rest are pretty arbitrary. For that reason, the decision was made to remove it from the profile screen to allow space for other info.
