4 Techniques to Explode Your Alcohol Inks!

When you're making abstract alcohol ink art, it's sometimes hard to know both how and in what way you'd like your alcohol inks to "burst" out of that initial drop of alcohol inks. There are a few alcohol ink art techniques that are fun and different to give your art different looks.
The basics are the same, as you'll see in today's alcohol ink art tutorial video, but I'm going to show you how different things can look with some slight differences. These are all alcohol ink ideas you can try, and I hope you will!

Hi! The dryer is a mini heat gun, it blows hot air but I use it on the low setting so it’s not hot hot just warm 😃

Are you diluting the inks here ? If so, in what ratios ?

I don’t typically unless I’m looking for a specific colour then I’ll dilute with isopropyl and mix colours, otherwise I usually flood the surface with isopropyl alcohol first before laying down the undiluted inks, hope this helps and thanks for watching 😃

I’m using grafix craft plastic it’s a bit sturdier than the typical yupo used with alcohol ink art, I hope this helps and thanks for watching 😃
