Municipal licensing is important for in person businesses and you can learn more about one in Toronto here: www.toronto.ca/business-economy/new-businesses-startups/business-regulations/ If you visit the Canadian gov website, you will be able to find the resource for your city there.

Opening a business bank account or business credit card don't create a separate credit profile for a sole prop, only for a corporation. That business credit card will just show up on the personal credit report of the sole proprietor even if it's a business card.

I registered as a Sole Proprietorship with Ownr just recently and received my business number 2 days ago. I am just watching the video and you mentioned my registration number. I have my business number, but can you let me know where I can access my registration number. Thanks
